I just bought this month's to check out the free minis.

It's as cheap and horrible as ever, and I can also now see why there's often Dakka rants against Jervis' Standard Bearer. I can't find evidence to support the "WD is getting better" claims that I sometimes see. Even the print quality is dire, my mag is all crincked and wobbly. Really awful magazine

I have 20-25 mags.

The only one I've bought in the past four years (I used to buy the occasional one before this time period when I could afford it as a kid) is the one with the warhammer legendary battles(apoc) rules in it. Other than that since they are filled with garbage now-a-days I just read it at chapters once in a blue moon to see if it has improved before dropping it back on the rack and walking away in disgust(current trend for the past four years, accept for that one edition ).

I have issues from 174 until about 325 or so.. I have just kept them in boxes..

I might have to get rid of them in my next move.. In case anyone's interested..

When I first started Warhammer, I picked up some back issues of WD and then collected every issue after them until about mid 1996. So I roughly had about issue 80 until 196 or so, with a few earlier issues between 50 and 79. Those were all lost when my storage space was auctioned off without my knowledge.

I now have almost all the issues from 292 on, with a few older ones. I tend to collect older/out of print books and related stuff for whatever hobby I am in at the moment, so I will doubtfully get even more of the older issues, even though I have no real use for them. I am trying to keep my exposure to Black Library products to a minimum for this very reason.

I don't think even they have it.

It was oop years ago, and was deleted from the issues back-orders page - which is a good indicator that there are no copies left with them.

I HAD over 250 two years ago. Then I moved house and sorted them for the ones that still had relevant content or stuff I liked. I now have anly aound 100.

I've got pretty much all of 'em since 100.

I really have been meaning to stop recently since I think there is very little in it I enjoy anymore but then I think. . .I've been collecting it for so long it's hard for me to give up on the collection aspect. I don't collect comic books anymore so I guess this is what it has come to for me.

Under the couch

Issue 151 is the oldest on the shelf. I have every issue from 168 to 325, which is where i finally convinced myself to stop buying it.

Although I did pick up 332, as it has pictures of a Marine army that I built as a commission job.

That was exactly my problem. I had got to the point where I would receive the new issue, spend 5 minutes flicking through it (maybe 10 if there was a particularly outstanding army showcase) and then it would go onto the shelf... but I didn't want to stop buying because I already had so many

Realised in the end that if the only useful thing I was getting out of it was pictures of pretty minis, I could do that online and put that $10 a month towards something more useful.

I don't even KNOW anymore.

I don't know - I guess technically I have over 100, mostly from the 90's, but I have the habit of taking issues apart after I've had them for a while to keep the articles that I want and dumping the rest (like the "Confrontation" test rules - yep, still have them for some reason). I usually keep the covers too - kind of like a headhunting trophy. The oldest one that I have (that has not been and won't be taken apart) is the one with the Heavy Metal movie poster on the cover.

And yes, I only bought US344 for the miniatures too.

Somewhere in south-central England.

I've got the one that had add-on boards for Space Hulk -- I think that was about no.100. I got two copies actually -- one of them has been cut up to get the boards.

I also had the issue that previewed Tau Empire codex.

I'm writing a load of fiction. My latest story starts here... This is the index of all the stories...

We're not very big on official rules. Rules lead to people looking for loopholes. What's here is about it.
