ive never played the game and i can tell where its from. nice job so far. also i find it kindda weird that the tau rifle seems at home on a SM looking mini

looks great, maybe in regards to the tau rifle, prehaps greenstuffing it to smooth it over, give it an extended barrel (so it looks at least somewhat like a sniper weapon) and chop the tau sight off and fix a SM one and i think it would look perfect for a gears model

the model is well thought out though, can't wait to see a squad

When you give total control to a computer, it’s only a matter of time before it pulls a Skynet on you and you’re running for your life.

That looks markably close, good effots!

If you are looking for a model to base the copter off of, go and find a suitably scaled Hind Helicopter, it looks a lot like the one in the picture. Shouldn't be too hard to convert it to your needs.

Note the model isn't mine though I have a smaller version myself.

Looks great so far! The bolter looks like it should be a little closer to his hand though... Aside from that, I can't wait to see the guy painted up!

I'm now picturing a Locust made the same way but with a Genestealer head and Ork arms.
Nice conversion, but I agree with ZamboniKNight about the bolter handle, 99MDeery with the rifle.

I have just bought a variety pack of Pig Iron heads to do my own variant SM army.

The heads are just about the right size -- maybe very slightly smaller than the standard SM helmets though this would not notice once the entire army was done.

The main problem is the SM heads have a bigger neck bobble which makes them rise higher out of the torso. This can be solved by seating the Pig Iron head on a blob of Milliput

I'm writing a load of fiction. My latest story starts here... This is the index of all the stories...

We're not very big on official rules. Rules lead to people looking for loopholes. What's here is about it.

Some one needs to make a locust army to vers yours I think orks would be the best option.

I tried being normal but it's boring so now I'm back to being insane

Oh my god dude! Nice, this will help me build my own army of cog, but I might stretch the rules in customing them than to you. You should put up photos of the other guys in your cog army.
I'm currently working on a harder project, involving making the Brotherhood of Steel from the Fallout franchise. I'll put up updates on my topic if you're interested.
By the way I agree with some of the people, definitely make a locust army, put in some grinders and boomers for heavy attack.
Nice work!
