I played the Decipher: Star Wars game and had a fairly vast collection. The later sets became harder to collect espeically those covering the Phantom Menace film.
Then Lucasfim took the rights off them, even though Decipher offered substantially more the Wizards of the Coast for the licence, and they already had the experiance, a fanbase and a working gamesystem, they didn't get it.
Of course, WotC are owned by Hasbro, who are owned in part by Lucas himself. Wizards thought they could make their own Star Wars CCG, a much dumbed down version totally incompatible with the Decipher one, and it flopped and is now available in discount stores.
What an absolute waste, all due to Lucas's greed. As if to p- off the Decipher fans further, Lucasfilm stopped Decipher from releasing any of the cards that were still in the pipeline, even for free on their website. They were barred from doing it. I think SWCCG fans had a right to be annoyed, Lucasfilm walked all over people who had been supporting then for years.
