I played M:TG for way too long. I also played the 40K CCG (used to run tournaments at the game store I worked at and everything). It's too bad it died like it did, I thought Sabretooth had designed a real winner when it first came out.

I now play RPGs (D&D, WFRP) and some board games.

Well I kind of moved near Toronto, actually.

I have ... $100 in the pirate ships game. I was thinking recently that I would not mind collecting more of it. I like the ships.

I might pick up the Monsterpocalypse box set. The terrain is 6mm scale.

Started Magic in 3rd ed and got out of it at the begining of the Urzas cycle because it was too expensive - then promptly got back into GW

I did make one exception; Deciphers CCG - now that was one awesome game right to the end to play competitively

For multiplayer social games; Babylon 5 and Legend of the 5 Rings were pretty cool.

Now its pure GW - this way you have something to show off to non-gamers and painting is rewarding (thou I hate gluing metal models even with a dremel to aid pinning)

I played the Decipher: Star Wars game and had a fairly vast collection. The later sets became harder to collect espeically those covering the Phantom Menace film.

Then Lucasfim took the rights off them, even though Decipher offered substantially more the Wizards of the Coast for the licence, and they already had the experiance, a fanbase and a working gamesystem, they didn't get it.

Of course, WotC are owned by Hasbro, who are owned in part by Lucas himself. Wizards thought they could make their own Star Wars CCG, a much dumbed down version totally incompatible with the Decipher one, and it flopped and is now available in discount stores.

What an absolute waste, all due to Lucas's greed. As if to p- off the Decipher fans further, Lucasfilm stopped Decipher from releasing any of the cards that were still in the pipeline, even for free on their website. They were barred from doing it. I think SWCCG fans had a right to be annoyed, Lucasfilm walked all over people who had been supporting then for years.

I played Magic casually for a while. I hated it when my local scene got all competative though.
Played Vs until it went through it's first cycle, then got annoyed.
Played the 40K CCG for a while, also Mageknight. Play a little bit of D'n'D minis too.
