Really? I thought the Ard Boyz last year said you had to use the same army throughout. Maybe I'm just foggy from old age

If more of us valued food and cheer and 40K over hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world. |

It kind of sucks that there are so many less places to play in the semis. But it makes sense from the GW point of view. If they have less locales, then then give out less 2500 point armies. Sucks for those of us who must drive, but thins the compition for any who make the finals. You be the judge as to whether or not this sucks.

Last year there were 20 regionals, not 24...but I'm guessing a lot more players are realizing the potential booty this year!

The distribution is a little strange. Last year Florida only had one store (Orlando area), and a lot of people had to drive 5+ hours.
Now they are all over there, and it seems like the over stauration there would be a huge benifit to those that are playing there.
Heck, I wish I still lived in Jacksonville, it should be a pretty slim crowd.
I am glad that they have a semi in Phoenix. I do no want to play agaisnt the huge crowd in LA again.

Well, me and the two others from my store have our names in at the Game Shoppe in Nebraska, although one of them doesn't know it yet. Just thought I'd warn y'all so you know to go register somewhere else.

Oh yeah, if you're in Washington, Oregon or Idaho and planning on playing at the Game Matrix call them now.
I just signed up and they said they would have 8-10 tables.
I informed them that we had 52 players at last years Semi's. And we should probably have more this year.
WTF!
A store gets a semi final and thinks they can get by with 8-10 tables?
Bring in the Miller High Life beer truck guy ad rip away their stock. They have no right to live the High Life.

'Ard Boyz dont live in the midwest.
Here's all that needs to be said on that subject:
2007 Ard Boyz 3rd Place - Minnesota
2007 Ard Boyz 2nd Place - Ohio
2007 Ard Boyz 1st Place - Ohio
Was that Fantasy? Cause I know 3rd place ArdBoyz 40K was here in CO.
On a related note, I'll be heading down to Gamer's Haven here in CO (down in the Springs though, ugh). Anyone else going?

Yeah dragon, looking at a map Missouri got hosed . You're right in the middle of a giant 40K dead zone. If you guys want to come to Dayton we would be happy to have you! I drove to St. Louis once for a card tournament. It's a days drive so you would have to start friday, but Dayton has plenty of cheap hotels.
