There's no difference between female and male Space Marines. It was proved in the thread here.

The Inquistion seems popular in general.

Also, does it have to be straight-up 40k? She might rather prefer a smaller game like Killteam, which would make the girly 'army' thing a lot easier. A squad of Howling Banshees supplemented by a couple of female rangers (yeah, heavy converting) might be easier than trying to do a hundred female orks.

And before you say they're fungi, they don't have genders, take theyself to the Bloodbowl section of Stuff Of Legends and look for the Orc cheerleader.

On second thought, don't.

Guinness: for those who are men of the cloth and football fans, but not necessarily in that order.

I think the lesson here is the best way to enjoy GW's games is to not use any of their rules.--Crimson Devil

Then there's the option of non-40k stuff like Urban War or one of the mecha games out there.

In Orc, 'Squig' is a funny word that can be used for everything from food, to hair, to breast implants.

Oh. My. God. That was fantastic! I actually have tears in my eyes from giggling so much. If I had the money, I'd so build some Pretty Marines.

Proved?

Are you sure you linked to the right thread?

Man, that's the joy of Anime! To revel in the complete and utter wastefullness of making an unstoppable nuclear-powered combat andriod in the shape of a cute little girl, who has the ability to fall in love and wears an enormous bow in her hair.

Oh come on guys, let's not do that again. This thread is to help a young girl get into the hobby, not debate what can/cannot exist in a fictional world.

I've already given some great suggestions -- Hello Kitty marines and Teddy Bear marines.

You're right, of course. This isn't the place to retcon other threads.

Looking through the fantasy range, I think any of the Pegasus or Unicorn riders would be ideal for a little girl.

So my friend Joc goes into a FLGS, right?

And she's in a leather jacket with spikes and chains, combat boots, the whole deal, and she's asking for some Escher figs. And the guy asks shows here where they are, and in a tone of disgust, asks, "You're not going to paint them pink, are you?"

She looks at him, boggles, and says "What made you look at me and think 'Malibu Barbie'?"

Don't assume all girls are made equal.
