You can take 120 plaguebearers and epidymous in 2500. Daemons are a pretty solid army if built beardy.

Do you remember that time that thing happened?

Anyone keeping tabs on this? I am wondering about the breakdown of winners. ANd what does 999 dark lances mean? I am guessing many, but how many actually?

Big enough to have a fall down template. Yup, that's me!

I played 2 ork players, one with 180 basic ork boyz plus some other toys, and nearly tabled both.

Flamers love orks. Good thing that if you bring enough flamers to kill orks, you also usually have enough flamers to toast marines.

Blood Angels won 4th place in the Tacoma WA Ard Boys. It was probably the most solid list there. But even though he won all three matches... It takes more than that to win the tournament. I would like to have seen what would happen if it was a 5 match tournament. My money would have been on the Blood Angels.

The Raven Wing and Dark Eldar were good. But they each got first turn every game. I think it would have been totally different if they had gone second in any of their games. It's harder to pull that off in a 5 match tournament.

umm no the raven wing guy went second in the game against me in the third game. I just couldn't kill his 3 vindicators. The ravenwing player or myself was walking away with 1st in the last game. I just choked. I should have easily beat him down.
I was running twin lash sorcerers 60 berzerkers and 9 obliterators and would have gladly played the blood angels over the ravenwing.

Congrats to the Tau, Ravenwing and Daemon players who got top spots!

And yes, codex creep is here again (Orks), but it seems to be generally about being optimized for the new rules rather than just having completely broken units.

Infinity: Way, way better than 40K and more affordable to boot!

and yay for the Dark Eldar. So far it looks like 3 DE players are advancing. That's 50% more than last year. Way to surge DE players!

The question is who will win when something absurd happens like the last 2 years?

Missions were slowed the 1st year then the time was cut the 2nd year thus voiding legitimacy of any victories

DDLEG,

Please check the dates on threads you are reading and make sure that if you're going to post it is still a relevant topic.

Dragging up a topical conversation nearly a year later is called thread necromancy and it is against forum rules.
