I started buying GW minis to use with D&D and Palladium because they were better than the other stuff out at the time.

Sadly, they erred this time.

They called it a "Bloodletter" from Warhammer, yet is is clearly drawn on a round base. Any true nerd knowledgitian knows the difference between 40K round and fantasy square bases. Flearly, he failed on this one... Glaringly so.

There are Bloodletters in 40k, I've had units eaten by them before.

I live exactly two blocks from my FLGS. It takes me about 5-7 minutes to walk there.

It's funny to see that stuff outside of the gaming bubble. It reminds me of seeing Steve Carell paint miniatures in The 40-Year-Old Virgin. Of course, the fact that he's a 40-year-old virgin made seeing that a little bittersweet.

If memory serves he wasn't undercoating them first. There's got to be a connection between that and him being a virgin. He collected action figures too, that's only one stage up from LARPing. LARPing is just being a furry but without the getting laid part.

They were also pink and soft historical minis. My self-esteem is halfway recovered at this point.

I don't know why but I have this image of a bunch of 40k junkies hanging out in front of the Global HQ harassing GW employees for free hand outs. Something like "Hey man, can you spare some squats?" Or "Will work for Kroot".

wait wait wait wait... huh..?

Well, whenever I want to go to GW, I have to

1) buy a dog, and a blue dress,

2) Braid my Hair

3) Go to kentucky and buy a house with my Aunt and Uncle.

4) have my dog threatened by an old woman.

5) Wait for a tornado, at which time I have to take a hallucinogenic.

6) Under the influence of said hallucinogen, I watch out my window as the tornado picks up my house, and twirls me around as a strange old woman flies around the house cackling madly.

7) Then I arrive at GW, where there are little people doing funny dance moves while some fairy chases me around dispensing wisdom.

That's not true, when my friends and I LARPed in high school, someone got arrested for having sex with underage girls at the LARP we went to regularly. They changed the rules after that: no one under 18 unless vouched for by 3 or more overage, pre-rules change players. We got to stay cause the guys from our game store were the largest group there(30+ people).

Hilariously, the guy that got arrested was also the guy running Rocky Horror on the Gulf Coast.

Nope, just lucky. I have to say, if there was an actual GW store anywhere in the Kansas City area, I would never complain about the length of the drive again. It's impossible to get an open table at the store I got to unless you play Flames of War or Warmachine.

Ha, thats funny (the OP comic).

I don't roleplay anymore, but if that happened to me, I'd say...

"You are right, we should use the miniatures I have that are correct, this is Bloodletter is definitely not a Blarog.

...

Lets start over.

As the dwarf opens the door your party sees:

(the correct model for) A Landraider Crusader!

and dies!

...is that better?"

GM wins, maybe thats why I don't roleplay anymore.

im gonna chose universitys by and in this order

1:what im gonna do
2:how good they are
3:how near a gaming shop is
4:how cheap said game shop is
5:how near a food shop is
6:how cheap the food shop is

so if 3 offer what i want to do i chose by how good they are, if ones really good but in the middle of nowhere ide go for the one thats less good but nearer to a game shop.

even chances plew we all remember when we roll more than when we roll .

It could be a horribly drawn square, or he could simply be referring to 40k as warhammer.

Trust me, no matter what damage they have the potential to do, single-shot weapons always flatter to deceive in 40k.                                                                                                       Rule #1
