OK, so everyone owes me a beer, right?

Anyways, group photo. IMO, best time would be after the second or third game on Saturday. Say somewhere near the judge's stand? I'm even willing to bet that I can get GoGo to let me use the PA system to do a shout out and tell everyone to come on up.

I'm bringing Khorne Daemons. Someone's gotta make sure no one regrets bringing their mystics.

All in all, fact is that Warhammer 40K has never been as balanced as it is now, and codex releases have never been as interesting as they are now (new units and vehicles and tons of new special rules/strategies each release -- not just the same old crap with a few changes in statlines and points costs).

QFT, I'm also hoping to make all the marine librarians with null zone feel good about themselves. Although my Daemons will be a little more multi-colored.

So where was everybody? Put out a call after round 5 for Dakka-ites to come up for a group photo, two of us stood there and waited, no one else came over. Don't tell me you're ashamed to be a Dakka Dakka member!?

Oh yeah, had a blast, IG went 4-1, battle reports when I can get to them.

Hey Don,

I was there, waiting for the call, but couldn't hear anything over that PA system.

Didn't introduce myself properly, but I chatted with you and John and Gorgon around round 4 or so.

Great job going 4-1 with IG!

PA? I don't need no stinking PA!! Yeah, I know, that's why I did it with sheer NCO lungpower after the initial announcement after round 5.

Something came up at the last second, so I couldn't make it. I was really looking forward to it too.

I went 2-3 with IG and did okay with painting and player's choice. Didn't make the cut in either one, but I had a blast and met some cool people. I'm pretty sure I was the only one who showed up for the group photo, so they didn't take it.

Oh, OK. I was the one who took the picture of the Iron Fist legion. I thought you bellowed pretty loudly, so I'm surprised no dakkaites were summoned.

Well, I wandered up, at least! Didn't see any of the Dakkaites I knew, and wandered back off... Danged Interwebs communities!

#1. The PA system sucked.

#2. I had to get out of Dodge by sundown to catch my flight.

Sucked doesn't begin to describe the PA system.

Should have just handed cue cards to Mondo all weekend...
