Man, that's the joy of Anime! To revel in the complete and utter wastefullness of making an unstoppable nuclear-powered combat andriod in the shape of a cute little girl, who has the ability to fall in love and wears an enormous bow in her hair.

Hmm, I might have to take a trip down south to play against some female marines and see what's in the water down there.

He's responding sarcastically to your insult (intended or otherwise) to his painting ability. It's not rocket surgery.

They're creations of Fabius Bile. Surely you aren't saying that Fabius Bile doesn't have the skills and resources to pull off something like that.

They are chaos! I thought they were Imperial unit supported by a forgotten feminist or liberal forgeworld out on the rim. They dont look anything like chaotic enough, or was Fabius Bile experimenting pre-Heresy?

Female marines, best way to describe the concept is that they do not officially exist, and the Imperium as a whole thinks the process either heretical or impossible, but the universe is a big place.

n'oublie jamais - It appears I now have to highlight this again.

It is by tea alone I set my mind in motion. By the juice of the brew my thoughts aquire speed, my mind becomes strained, the strain becomes a warning. It is by tea alone I set my mind in motion.

I don't think that there should be so much problems to turn women into Astartes.

I can easily think on a planet full of powerful amazons. From that to a chapter using it as a recruiting base is just one step... Yeah, they would probably be seen as heretic, but it not more weird than eating flesh or drinking blood

Just two things:
1. English is not my mother tongue. I´m really sorry for the misunderstandings and the kicks to the dictionary. Don´t be too hard on me, OK?
2. With the best intentions sometimes comes the worst advice. But you asked for it, didn't you?

As I said, I don't have problems with female Space Marines, but I agree with him. I imagine Fabious Bile doing really different stuff than hot chicks

But there could be a lot of other explanations for them, being the simplest of them (The amazon planet as recruiting base) my favourite.

You can read the fluff in this thread:
http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/213002.page#310401

Basically they are creations of Fabius Bile, inspired by Genestealers. Widows are seeded into a target world where they will hybridize with the local population and breed for several generations. When the world finally comes under attack, the Widows awaken to their purpose and abilities and begin waging war against their former kinsman.
Widows gain access to power armor very slowly over several campaigns, so the army I have built represents a widows army that has been active long enough for everyone to aquire their own suit of power armor.

They don't have spikes because I don't like the look of spikes.
