No, you are wrong. It is not the "strictest read of the rules" it is just the rules. Normal DP's come with a 40mm. It doesn't matter if a 60mm looks better. If it is a tournie it should be on a proper base - funny games only it doesn't matter.

2014 will be the year of zero GW purchases. Kneadite instead of GS, no paints or models. 2014 will be the year I finally make the move to military models and away from miniature games.
