It's just as a community we don't believe the list you have presented us with is actually good versus the armies you say it is. It might do well to a point, but fabricating game results and then calling someone out to avoid discussion solves nothing.

He wont come down here, last time he played an RTT in my store he got schooled by some of the other locals. As far as his challenges go, he can simply go tell Chunk and the rest of the Goonies that I said 'Hi'!

It seems like this one is the exact opposite: it'll beat 2 lists, stumble through some others, and lose to any sort of horde or massed shooting from lack of bodies. It seems like a total gimmick list revolving around ability to make 3+ saves indefinitely.

I admit to say a power build could be a big stretch. What are the five top armies you typically see these days at the big events? Ork horde... what else?

I'm inclined to agree with some of the statements made her GBF, your list is a gimmick list, but at the end of the day so is lash, one of my mates gets annoyed about the amount of gimmick lists i have take to tourneys in the past, my Crystal Targeting Matrix Starcannon Spam, it qualified me and i have no shame in using a list purely designed to make me qualify for the finals, now don't get my wrong your list is designed around what a lot of tournament lists generally revolve around, killing MEQs which their is nothing wrong with as that's the general way to do it, however i can see the reason you have had some of the responses you have had is purely because you have stated the list in a sense as the definite lash killer, which is some respects it is some it isn't, hell I've beaten a lash/lesser daemon bomb with guard, so its not impossible just difficult,

i wish you luck with that list, but as stated against anything else especially orks it will come up short, i just think if you had presented your argument in a different way this pointless flaming wouldn't have come about, still g'luck with it

yes I should have presented the list in a better manner. My apologies to anyone who might feel slighted by some of my replies. I will take the list to a big event next year after some more playtesting and see how it fares.

Oblits sitting back shooting lascannons at your marines deserve to die.

Oblits deepstriking and meltagunning or multi-melta-ing your tanks into slag will die a worthwhile death, and your army will crumble.

And yeah, 30 Plaguemarines might not do so well against a full squad of thunder hammer terminators and Marneus Calgar.

But 50 chaos space marines with dual plasma each sure will. Enjoy that.

He tried deep striking the Oblits... They got jacked hard in close combat. The general consensus here is to walk them on versus this army.

I think he took too many obliterators. No need for 9, points would be better spent on more troops. Switch plaguemarines for regular CSM and just pump out the damage.

I will mention that to him the next time I see him. I know he loves those plasma guns as well.

well im not going to say anything about the list cause its all been said but i will say your battle report kinda looks like it was done by a 9 year old so maybe Deadshane is right. In fact im sure he is right. anyway good luck with your games.

but to be more clear your report part 1 was nicely done, thats why i said this post is ungodly ugly. like a 9 year old did it. i really ment no disrespect but ive just never seen something like this.
