Please tell me you're not listening to the "advice" there. I'd forgotten why I don't visit there, but the constant whining/complaining and just bad advice disgusted me.

I can't fault the people over there. They have some very solid tactical write-ups on DH that I enjoyed reading. Their cries for sanctuary were kind of amusing though. They assumed that they were two lists tailored to play each other in a "fluffy"/"friendly" game.

It's not quite that simple. Because the Daemonhunter codex actually bothers to define what units are Daemons.
Of course, its screaming for an update, but then again, Sanctuary itself was never intended to function from inside a vehicle. As someone who plays both DH and CD, its silly, but trying to use one part of an old codex to give yourself an advantage while ignoring another part of that same codex because it essentially cancels out your advantage seems unethical to me.

Not really so much. I did like the WW tactica that they stickied but I dont really pay ALL that much attention to the guys that comment in a thread.
There are like 3 guys over there that actually know what they're talking about when it comes to grey knights.
I only post there out of boredom at work when nothing is going on here.

The Nemesis Force Weapon doesn't even count as a Force weapon unless it's in the hands of a Grand Master.
If that's any indication of consistency, it's no wonder the Grey Knights' daemon classification has problems. :(

We all know that a bloodletter is a daemon... Same thing with a daemonette, plague bearer, steed of slaneesh, horror, etc. To claim otherwise would never fly at my FLGS I am proud to say.

True. But the Daemonhunter codex is quite specific about defining what counts as a Daemon for the Daemonhunter codex.
I really wouldn't care, except for the Sanctuary exploit. Three elite inquisitors with the sanctuary power, with a heirophant to make them LD9 for an 83% chance of success, and mounted in Land Raiders, which can easily block off a corner of the table. Or they don't even need to...as long as everything in the Daemonhunter army stays within 3" of the land raider, they can shoot at the Daemons with impunity.
Since you measure the 3" from the hull of the land raider, you VASTLY increase the amount of area that the Sanctuary power can cover. And daemons can't assault into, can't shoot into it, can't shoot past that area. With the land raider, you're talking a circle of approximately 10-12" in diameter that blocks LOS to the daemons.
