Rules and enjoying playing a game of apoc with your friends = yes, why not.

Fluff = no. Orks would have minimum interest in using bugz, more squishing them, Tyranids are impossible to ally with, you couldn't even communicate with them in order to do it.

I prefer fluff based games since i'm a sad storyline loving softy. But if it's about getting together and enjoying a game with every able to pull stuff from any army, then why not.

A bit off, but still about allies. Could do a possible Necron/Nid army with the Deceiver getting the nids to ally with the necrons

The question you have to ask yourself is "What the does an Ork genestealer kult leader look like?"

My suggestion for rules:
Require a broodlord in the Tyranid army, or a genestealer cult leader if you can find stats and points for it. If you can figure out a decent warboss with carnifex or genestealer bits, conversion, do it.

If the Tyranids are winning on the third turn, they have to start eating the orks. Or better yet, if Tyranids and Orks end up in a mixed assault, require an leadership test (ignoring the psynapse rules, no fair trying to get out of rolling) for the Tyranid unit to avoid attacking the ork unit that turn.

It's Apoc, it's okay if it's a bit silly, right?

thats whats wrong with warhammer, orks, nids, necrons, daemons, dont really get along with each other make fluff based alliances almost impossible. If only they were more friendly : )
