I just had some of the Cajun Squirrel. These were the best so far. They have a strong cajun smell and an almost game-like aftertaste which using the power of suggestion could be interpreted as squirrel. They were quite nice, and are different enough that you could make the psychological connection to them being squirrel flavour. Probably give these 7.5/10, ranking them slightly higher than say Roast Chicken walkers (7/10).

Except according to a court in the U.K. Pringles aren't crisps [potato chips]. I gak you not. The folks who make pringles wanted to avoid some levy or some such thing and so made an argument that their product was not affected by regulations affecting crisps. The court decided in their favor. ummm....yummy.

YO DAKKA DAKKA!

I'm guessing it was because they're made of reconstituted potato-crud rather than sliced potato?

That was indeed the loophole. Which is why Pringles are 'shaped potato snacks' officially

Well now, isn't that something?

So processed potatoes sent through a pressure cooker aren't even technically potato chips?

What do you guys call corn chips (or crisps, if you may)? Processed Corn Snacks?

... and in that case what the hell do actual 'Corn Chips' look like? Wait, corn crisps. Uh...

Probably tiny little slices of Corn Kernels, by the British standard.

Now that is a sad chip.

Suffolk, where the Aliens roam.

Tried three today, and aye for a sec that sounds bad, but two flavours had a few taster crisps eaten before the whole packet went in the bin.

Hoi sin Crispy Duck, can't taste the Duck and the Hoi sin is a strong bitter flavour, not like the sweet versions I'm used to, so yuck.

Fish and Chips, the chip is the crisp itself, so all you are really tasting is a watery but very strong, almost stale strong fish flavour that is pretty much vile that seemed to get worse the more crisps I ate, think I got to 5 or 6 before these went.

The third one I tried was Builders Breakfast, which looks like its supposed to be egg, bacon, sausage and tomato on the pack, you can sorta taste a meat/bacon there but the egg is so overpowering. I was tasting egg flavour for an hour after. So even though I finished the bag, I won't be getting them again.

Have no interest in either the Chilli/Choc flavour or the Onion Bahji flavour, but plan on trying the Cajun Squirrel at some point.

Builders Breakfast and Onion bhaji have been my favourites to date although I've yet to try the duck.

Still doesn't beat the King of Crisps - Brannigans Roast Beef & Mustard though.

For all the talk of crisps out there on the web, I have NEVER seen anybody refute this statement - with good reason!

They wanted to 'reduce' the flavour at one time make it less harsh and more acceptable to a 'wider customer base'

I almost strangled the product manager and stalled the project as much as I could.

Thankfully they were overruled and it stayed as is.

Shame I can't find them anywhere.

I love those Crisps, and would marry them if the law allowed.

Of course, then I'd get done for Spousal Abuse having eaten them on the first night.

How are they allowed to use squirrels?

Back of back has a sappy animal friendly... no squirrels were actually harmed in the making of these crisps.

I'd rather it contained real squirrel.

UB are launching McCoys Sizzling King Prawn I'm going to have to try these but I've yet to see them in the shops.

Did anyone go in for the competition to design the flavour when it was running?
There were endless entries for everything under the sun. My gf was trying to go in for it but was struggling to come up with an original idea, eventually frustrated she typed in "cat and dog" and lo and behold there was indeed a cat and dog flavour that had been suggested by a fellow Briton. However I guess Heston Bloomental didn't approve of the choice

Not mine, but it would have been pretty awesome (and accurate for some of their existing flavours)
