Argh, can we have a thread without waving our mansticks around?
"I hate X, not because I lose to it (since, you know, its very imporant to me that folks on the internet understand that I never lose to anything in the world)", but because of other reasons which show off how great I am.
My least favourite army to face is Daemonhunters.

All in all, fact is that Warhammer 40K has never been as balanced as it is now, and codex releases have never been as interesting as they are now (new units and vehicles and tons of new special rules/strategies each release -- not just the same old crap with a few changes in statlines and points costs).

I hate facing Nob Biker armies because I find regardless of what mission you play vs that army...it is always the same. Boring.

I don't mind playing any army, though the Necrons are kind of boring with the lack of troop choices.
My pet peeve is playing a SLOW ork mob. Seriously, debating for 3 minutes where to move a mob and then measuring each freaking piece is HELL for me. At least the IG gunline sits and fires!

I find it funny that Ork armies are now competitive and en vogue and people don't like facing them. Was it the same for the dual lash, MEQ Eldar, Iron Warrior Min-Max lists as well? In other words people dont like playing armies that are geared to win.
I don't dislike any kind of army, though I haven't played every army there is, I dislike a type of player.

I know it is totally cliche...
But any army can be fun to play against, and any army can be terrible to play against. It is 100% about the player.
I have hated and loved games against the fluffiest army of all time... because the player was TFG
I have hated and loved playing a tight, tactical, close competitive game... because the player was TFG
I have hated and loved games where I have been tabled.
I have hated and loved games where I've tabled someone.

lol i think i'm the only one that got that nice.
Who ever said that sm's were balanced in the new dex (for get your name, but the chap with the kharne avatar) wrong, dead, wrong, 2 words: cato sicarious the most op under pointed bastard ever to stride the table top(ok maybe i'm exagerating, but still) and the 50pt assasinesk scout captain, and free thunderfire canons, choosing to pass or fail moral, ok no more infiltrating devies, but still termies assault canons, the list is still op, i can admit it even though i play them but mainly allot of the op bollocks comes from the vanilla marine characters.
As a long time ork player i agree with the nob bikers online set being bull gak, and as such i don't use it, my ork horde is pushing 6000 pts (without any super heavies) and i only have 3 bikers, only one of which is a nob, i think the nob bike list is frankly just annoying and i'm sick of the noob players walking around with nob bikers, if your good enough you don't need them, i've never lost a game with my orks and i still don't use nob bikers, so piss off you stupid net list pricks and may gork bring to you a slow and painfull death.
Listening to the cron players whine about orks makes me laugh, especially the bit about ol' zoggwort squigging the nightbringer... classic
My least favorite army to play against is most likely sisters of battle (even though i hate dark eldar and their queer slaaneshi ways with a passion) because mainly the faith points and the fact that the guy plays his list wrong all the time making his gak more powerful, i've never lost a game to them, but god dammit their faith points are annoying, and as i've had to argue the point with him time and time again they are limitless, as the number starts to deminish one of his characters dies and he gets more, he will never run out of them in a normal game, nore (in my experience) any apocolypse game. I sort of shot myself in the foot when i bought him St. Celestine for his birthday, but i was able to either hold her down with a warboss and nob squad (until she did hit and run with her seraphim) or simply avoided her while i absoltely drowned the rest of his army.
Commissar to Sister of Battle: What are you doing here get back to your refridgerator rhino and make me some gakking sandwiches!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Chaos can be pretty interesting. Its always entertaining when karn just annihilates his own squad in close combat or when a dread does the same. Or depressing when his possesed get power weapons, making them actually worth more then their cost. Or funny when all they get is a scout move

This is actually kind of funny. I hate not seeing lists geared to win. I have to admit when I first started playing i used a copypasta intertubes list. 2x Lash Prince, 9x Oblits, 3x PM squads. But as time goes on everyone deviates from their armies formula for victory and it becomes a better formula for victory. I still use a Lash but Mot, Warptime, and Wind is what's on my DP now. 9 Oblits are excessive but 6 is a good number. PMs are good for holding now I use Berzerkers and Noise Marines to put the hurt on. Lists that are geared to win will evolve over time to beat other lists that are geared to win and that kind of competition is what creates creative thinking. What I honestly don't like is someone sitting, what amounts to, a limbless child of a list whos' units could not even kill themselves. These lists tend to be the fluffy ones too. Not all fluff lists are bad. But many of the bad fluff lists are the lists that I groan when I have to play. I know I'm going to wipe the board with the unsynergetic choices and minimally effective heavy hitters. Guess I'll /rant now.

I hate nob bikers too and believe when I say I have some good friends who play this army. It is the absolute epitomy of an Internet list. I build my lists to beat them and hopefully be balanced against other armies... that is really hard to do.
Here is my take on Necrons in general. The codex was designed as an introductory army for n00bs to have a chance at winning then some veterans decided to power game with it. I had a beat stick Necron army that was a lot of fun to play BUT I never once took it to a tournament. Back in 4e the destroyers just took this race way over the top. Destroyers are very hard to catch in an assault, they have T5 plus they benefit from WBB. I have seen my fair share of destoyer list and I find them g3hy as can be. The one good thing I can say about Necrons is that they could beat down eldar back in 4e when the holo falcon was just totally absurd.
I love a strong list that can crush everything BUT. I personally like to field something at least a bit original.
Nob bikers are totally WAAC. No one that plays them should say that they are bad ass when fielding such a g3hy list. I really hate t3h nob bikers and love to thrash them.

Other black templar armies are the most annoying thing in the world for me.
"Oh look...we're in assault, rerolling everything under the sun. This will be a nail-biting fourty minute turn..."
But also noob bikers. The list plays itself and it's just plain unfun. Sometimes I can beat it, sometimes it's nob bikers and just wins.
The ork player who used it stopped being able to find games so he switched to a balanced list. As all cheating ork players should haha

I have no least favorite army.
However, there are two armies that make me a bit nervous when I battle them: Daemons and Nidzilla.
