OT
I'd love to have a Space Pope model to paint, but it's just to expensive at £20. I would pay £10 for it and not use it in games except as an objective marker.

They have a cover save and he grants Stubborn. If he dies its the same as a regular Ethereal dieing, but those that pass gain FC and PE. Which for Tau is like saying they get crap. For 5 less points than Eldrad.

This amount of rules is fine. It makes the point about Space Pope, which can't be done without mentioning his abilities.

Whilst reading over the Tau Codex, I came over this guy called Aun'va or whatever. He was like this super awesome Ethereal, right?
Yeah it would be nice if he wasn't like 200 points. That's just too much for him. Maybe 100? Actually, in general Ethereals suck the big one.
Hrm...Lucius is pretty bad as well.

He does have "Rites of Battle" and is fairly cheap for a 2+/4++ character. Not to mention one BS5 meltagun shot.

I agree, but even regular ethereals are just mediocre, and that is in certain builds.
