Negetive feelings create demons in the warp and power up the gods, so does that count as ork negitive feelings?

The ork mindset is far removed from the human and eldar mindsets; an ork chops you in half because he thanks its funny, not because he is opposed to your ideas. The premise in one of the older codex was that they approach everything with a certain enthusiasm, including violence, that dosen't benefit the chaos gods. Since they do what they do because it is fun and not out of malicious rage, they don't feed khorne. One might say the Slanessh has a better chance of corrupting an ork, since they approach almost everything they do with a single minded enthusiasm.

There are Orks that are dedicated to Khorne, though. They are ones that are a bit too into violence, even by ork standards. Remember, orks like to have a good time, be that by drinking a massive amount of ale, blowing stuff up, or riding a bike at 97% the speed of light without a seat belt- they actually aren't single minded killing machines; think of them as a bully rather then a serial killer.

Anyway, this is a bit of a pointless thread since all the gods, warp or C'tan are pretty stable and barring a massive upset they won't be destroyed.

Technically, Tzeentch is the best because he thrives on eternal planning. Guess what Games-Workshop does when planning what happens next?

As long as Games-Workshop continues 40K, Tzeentch can plan to his heart's content...if he has a heart.

If the C'tan don't become more powerful through worship (simply because they aren't warp entities), then how can a C'tan that's been dormant for so many years, without any soul to feed on, function as The Machine God?

Chew on that for a bit.

I wasn't really concerned about that. I was more just contesting the logic that Warp Gods become more powerful through worship (perhaps some citation of this would be nice), and proposing the idea that if a C'tan had a massive source of energy to feed on, couldn't one of them best Gork or Mork?

Well maybe the C'tan is hibernating or lying 'dormant' like the rest of their race, wake up when enough necron have.
Doubt they'd be able to affect GorkaMorka due to them being in the warp and the C'tan energy-being-thingies that are repelled by the warp.

Technically wouldn't Tzeentch be the stronger of the chaos / gods? he is fueled off every lie ever spoken, and off the worshippers of tzeentch which are a small bunch considering the Imperium are nothing but a lie being spoken about every day, not to mention Tzeentch can alter reality if he wishes couldnt he alter it so that Gork and Mork are Tzeentch in the orks mind.

I don't know that C'Tan grow more powerful from feeding on souls; I think they became more powerful from feeding on other C'Tan

It's not a matter of worship so much as it is followers exemplifying whatever the gods feed off of.

Khorne and Tzeentch don't get more powerful from people bowing down to them, they get more powerful from their followers killing hundreds of people, and learning forbidden knowledge.

The worship and temples come into play when the god's followers want them to act in the material world, through daemon summoning, visions, mutations, etc.

and proposing the idea that if a C'tan had a massive source of energy to feed on, couldn't one of them best Gork or Mork?

Not really. They live in different universes.

The C'Tan hope to seal off the warp, while chaos wants the warp to spill over and subsume our universe.

Anuvver fing - when they do sumfing, they try to make it look like somfink else to confuse everybody. When one of them wants to lord it over the uvvers, 'e says "I'm very speshul so'z you gotta worship me", or "I know summink wot you lot don't know, so yer better lissen good". Da funny fing is, arf of 'em believe it and da over arf don't, so 'e 'as to hit 'em all anyway or run fer it.

@ Orkeosaurus:

QFT.

Warp is the only thing that can not only counter, but best the C'tan. It is anathema to them, and they can't do anything about it. That's why their goal is to cut the material universe off from the warp. Remember the C'tan retreated when the enslaver plague came.
