You really should consider building you AdMech army by following a Codex from GW. You will have trouble finding opponents. I think it is an awesome idea to modle an AdMech army but the conversation between us would still go along the lines of;
Player A; "Would you like to play my AdMech army?"
Player B; "You have made an AdMech army?"
Player A; "Yep"
Player B; "Have you really made an AdMech army?
Player A; "Yep....again"
Player B; "Awesome! What codex have you used?"
Player A; "I have made my own"
Player B; "No, I meant what army does your AdMech count as?"
Player A; "No one. I have made my own rules"
Player B; "Erhm.....ok, tell you what. I'd rather play that SM army over there. Good luck though"
This is of course just my oppinion, but I don't think I am alone in this.
There is this Codex that has been approved for Warhammer World campaigns.

And the acceptibility of an unoffical codex can be varied; sometimes your opponent would be a beardy ass who wouldn't touch an unoffical 'dex with a 20ft barge pole despite it being balanced, sometimes they'll be more accepting and sometimes they just won't have the time to spend checking out what is an entirely new codex for them.
Anyway, I do like the idea of an AdMech army with all those cybernetic implants.
