Nope, never had Sallie pads. Had water transfers. That was it.

There never were any Ravenguard pads, which is why I sculpted and cast my own! Looks great on pre-heresy Beaky Marines!

My comments are my own, and mine own alone. If you have any complaints, please report to Mr Spanky who will take them down for you.....

Dear God I hope not. Wolverine with GIANT lightning claws emerging from EVEN MORE GIANT gauntlets?

I thought Beaky Marines were only on Mark 6 Armour which definitely post-dates the Horus Heresy.

chaplaingrabthar's partially right - Mk 6 was a stopgap measure during and after the HH, but it was not pre-Heresy (see here for more info: http://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Power_Armour).

Man, I wish there was a real Black Library where I could get a Black Library Card and take out Black Library Books without having to buy them. Of course, late fees would be your soul. But it would be worth it. - InquisitorMack

Technically, they are Mark 6 Heresy period (Including pre-heresy weapons) however from my forces back fluff they are painted in Pre-heresy colours as they hunt Chaos marines in revenge for the Instvann masacre.

I think thats more of a perspective issue with the picture.

At least, I hope it is.

Man, do I hate the way they do lightning claws now: disproportionate PLUS ungraceful and boxy. The old ones actually looked like claws, not garden implements on cartoon clown fists.

Anyways, good news about the Havocs. Mix those with a box of loyalist Devastators for greater poseability.

Infinity: Way, way better than 40K and more affordable to boot!

The best ones they've done lately were the ones for the CSM Terminator Lord - no wonder they go for $7.99 a pop on The Warstore (and are always sold out!) Back when I was considering re-doing a Deathwing army, I considered trying to equip all my TLLC Deathwing with those. Heh, not for that price.

I'll see if I can dig out a picture of my lightening claws. I use Powerfists and modify them by adding cut staples. you cut one leg off just after the bend, you end up with a nice short solid claw (which doesn't bend like a wire does) with a nice curve att the end of it into "Rake" type claws.

Look nice I can say, and I have a few with my Raven Guard.

I think everyone is missing the big picture here....

ORC RAIDER WITH TORCH!!!!

I mean how many times have I sat in my room and asked why GW isn't releasing an orc with a torch?

Too many, that's how many!

Also agree with everyone else on the need for GW to stop releasing obscure shoulder pads and do the first founding at least (full range of BA would be a good help for me).

GOLD!!!

Or is it silver?

The silver skulls chapter symbol is essentially the old BA 1st company shoulder pad repackaged under a new name...

I'm sure if they ever come out with a Salamanders pad it'll be a re-tool of the Alpha Legion ones.
