I don't understand how it is suddenly so hard to kill or even disable (stnned results own vehicle squadrons) a few AV10 vehicles. I also don't understand how those "death rushing" Land Raiders can live for more than 2 turns when they roll into the opposing wall of melta weapons.

this makes me giggle

just say... here's how i see our game going...
i win to setup first, and let you take first turn. you deploy. and all i see is one firemagnet squad... and other squads i can ignore for a while.

i roll a six to seize the day, and i move my 9 raiders forwards 12 inches behind cover to your flank. behind them i move 3 ravagers with disintegrators 6 inches. i fire 9 dark lances one after the other into your pedro/sternguard rhino (or landraider?) and i wreck it after 4 shots. i now take 5 more dark lances to put into your terminator LR and it gets immo. since your rhino/LR went poof, i then take 9 plasma cannons and drop them on your sternguard and pedro. let's say... out of 9 plates... i score... 16 t7 ap2 wounds (out of a possible 27-36, which is crappy scatter)... so that gives us 2 wounds on pedro and one sternguard, and 3 on the rest... you take your 4+ cover saves on the 3 wound guys,.and you lose them all, you make both on the last sternguard, and then you fail an inv save on pedro and he takes a wound..

you come back and fire your speeders at me... you crash 2 warrior raiders and a wych raider, but it's all good because my troops are now sitting on an objective ytou move your other LR towards me, but with your 24 inch range you are just not in range to do anything with your metlas this ends your turn... because you just don't have the range.

i move my raiders 12 inches forwards again up your flank closing in on your troop squad on foot, and 2 wych raiders stop a mere 3 inches away.while the others hife behind them for cover. my ravagers move another 6 inches forward, putting one out of LOS to your entire army. i disembark my 4 haemonculi out of the wych raiders and drop a destructor templates on the squad. the first rills a 3 for AP, and i wound 3. the second, rolls a 5 for ap, wound 1 and it saves, the 3rd rolls a 2 for ap, and i would 3, and the final one rolls a 4 for ap and i wound one and it saves. i now fire6 dark lances into the still mobile LR and pop it with a 5. two of my ravagers are now targeting pedro and dropping plates on him. i get 3 hits out of a possible 6, and he fails one more inv save. now i fire 4 splinter cannons into your speeders, and 2 glance, and one of your speeders is immobilzed and the other loses it's melta gun. i pop combat drugs on all my haemonculi that attacked your squad on foot, and one takes a wound, i charge, with 16 WS5 reroll misses, that are goijng to wound on a 2+ your squad diesand i move the HQs behind the raiders for cover

this turn, pedro joinds the terminators, your speeders fly to my warriors that are now on the ground and drop plates on them and a whole bunch and 4 from one squad and 6 from the other die. they both pass shooting ld. your other rhino had disembarked it's travellers and parking on front of them for a cover save and you fire a missile and crash one of my warrior raiders. pedro and the terminators move and run behind cover with pedro.

my HQs get back onboard the wych raiders and they both move 12 inches towards pedro the terminators. my 3 surviving raiders with warriors move flat out towards the closest objectives.the ravagers move out of cover and get partial LOS on pedro and the terms, and they drop their plates. this time, 18 hits, they are so close together. this time you have 3 wounds on everyone. 2 terminators and pedro die. the two dark lances take a shot at your rhino and nothing happens. i now have 2 haemonculi (4 can't get out due to boarding this turn) with destructors and 15 wyches staring at you right in the face, and i roll for combat drugs on my HQs again, 2 take wounds, and i charge. needless to say, your remaining 3 termintors are now taking 20. wounds, from 39 total attacks. nedless to say, each one makes a couple rolls of 1 and they die. i move my squads into position to board the raiders next turn. meanwhile my warriors have managing to shoot down two more speeders in shooting

your next turn you fly your speeder to my wych raiders and MM one to blow up. i lose 2 of my HQ units, and 3 wyches. your missile launcher tried to fire at the other raider and hits, but i i make the 4+ cover save.

i board my wyches and HQs back into the raiders and move them 12 inches towards your last squad. and move my 3 reminaing raiders to capture the last objectives. i fire at your immobile LR with dark lances and wreck it, and 2 into your rhino and it wrecks as well. the 2 haemonculi disembark and drop disintegrator plates on your last squad, with an ap5 and ap3 roll, you lose 7 of your squad, and they run.

you regroup, and fire your missile launcher at a raider and down it, kill 2 wyches and another hq inside as well as pinning the unit.

my last turn i move all my raiders into firing range on your last 3 marines, and the last wych raider up close to let out the wyches and haemonculi and you die.

i have all 4 objectives, and with pretty average shooting i have tabled you.
