Oh god, nearly done. Just the gems and staves to finish now, should be done by bed time, thank christ.
I learned a lot from this. I know I could paint this same model, or one similar, up to the same standard in half the time if I was to do it again. I made a lot of mistakes I had to fix, and some bad time wasting choices that gave little result. But finally coming towards the end of it is fantastic.
Back to work on it now :(

I'm always so jealous of people who can paint their whites that crisp.
Looks excellent.

I'm going to rock back and forth in the corner for about a week before I decide if Im going to paint up the noble/lord too.
Then again, he is mostly metal and not that time consuming as opposed to god-damn-cloth.

Patience and watery paint. I start up from a fortress grey undercoat, then 1/2 fort 1/2 skullwhite basecoat except for a tiny tiny line around the edge, then bring it up to pure skull white layer by layer. I prime black. You can still get lovely white results and get the bonus of not needing a lot of blacklining.

Nuclear: Properly pronounced new-clear, not new-cue-lir. There is no 'u' between the c and l, so stop saying it because it just makes you sound like a dumbass. This includes nucleolus, and all other derivatives of the word.

While I'm at work actually, is there any imput on what kind of price range I should try this in on ebay?
I've been looking at the other dragons/large models for sale there and the pricing is all over the place, I mean I'm seeing the same painting standard fluctuate from 60 to 120 dollars on these, and they are really quick jobs, neat, but you can see they are being mass produced for sale due to amount of skimping on the actual model.
There are ones going for over 210 dollars that are on par with 170 dollar ones, it doent make sense to me.
I have no idea at this point what the right price range is for the kind of models I can output at the moment, because everyone just seems to be pricing them completely randomly, and you can't really see if they are selling.
