Teenage boys with nothing to do is like a bomb waiting to explode. If he gets back with his buddy and they're still bored, RUN! (Another one from personal experience, I caused plenty of trouble way back when.)

Drawing for ten hours, only stopping for bathroom breaks tends to wear one's wrist out. I had to wear a brace for a few days but with time and ibuprofen I recovered. Did it again recently but the total work took over forty hours spaced across five days.

Insomnia and 40k are so good for each other.

I looked at the damed thing 5 minutes ago on my screen and it is still popping up when ever I look at a flat surface (wall, computer screen, the inside of my eyelids)

Must be something wrong with my brain, I'm getting nothing from it.

Scout, I don't think you should go around telling people about the physical problems of your family members and your own poor troubled life.

And we're not b****ing at your work - mind the language for someone of your age - we're offering a 'critique' and advice from our own good will, besides people liked your most recent story - you are getting somewhere.

I suggest avoiding the use of electronic devices before bed, especially computers. Try reading a book or doing a crossword.

this might sound strange but i always fall asleep when i watch The Exorcist...it has a very soothing quality to it, give it a go! you can guarantee within the time it takes to get to her abusing herself with a crucifix im snoring snug and dead to the world

I cant fall asleep, neck pain from weird sleep posture.

Now im just making my minis do silly things.

I can't sleep as am jacked up on chocolate and caffinated soft drink (mercifully sugar free).... and it is only 8.45pm, and I have another 2 hours of work to go. :(

i still havent slept yet, went out at 12 last night, left town at 3 and a few of us went back to a mates, and just carried on drinking.
i figured the longer i can keep up drinking the longer it will be before the hangover sets in.

i can actually get to sleep a lot easier after watching a scary movie. Also, Snow Day FTW!!!!!

i was just letting you know, in case someone is a sleep specialist. If I could find a good book (read Fifteen Hours six times, and lent watchmen to a friend) I would. Crosswords just annoy me.

You should see a doctor. Seriously.

Up since 5 a.m. EST and won't be asleep until 2 a.m. EST. It sucks being sick with migraines.

When I can't sleep I generally listen to music (usually Bloodbath) with my headphones on. Or read a book, that usually does the trick.

Doing a crossword or reading are actually really bad ideas, they stimulate the brain a lot. Relaxing music or going on a walk are the best tips I got from doctors when I had a similar problem. Either that or a bit of hand shandy.

The best cure for insomnia is a show on the national geographic channel called seconds from disaster. Actually, most stuff on NG will put you to sleep.

I'm roughly your age. yes, I roam dakka, but I've played Nazi Zombies (got to round 22 YAY!) and play WAaAY too much Gears of War 2 with my buddy (dude, that was like, 6 hours of gamplay)

Should you need anything to do, work on a 40k project! Best thing I can tell you
