Re: the beast: I like it, a lot. The concept, and your work so far. The greenstuff work is on point, and I vote you stick with the gas mask face. I've never been a fan of the "comically bloated and ruptured" Nurgle, but more a fan of the more realistic looking, rotting, slimy,, natural, biological warfare side of things. The point is to delight in disease and decay, not simply corpulance and stupid smiling faces. The direction you're going so far is great, in my opinion. Have you considered a few more tubes running around various body parts? Seems whomever wanted to direct the mutation would have to deliver a large amount of stimulants throughout the entire body, one way or another.

The one bit of advice I can add is in regards to the left arm. Even being enormous and strong, it seems a vulcan megabolter would still be heavy, and the torque of the spinning barrels would require a great deal of strength to hold steady. Perhaps bend the arm more at the elbow, so the upper arm points down slightly, with the forearm still pointing straight out from the torso? I think it would help convey the heft of the weapon. My two cents, take it for what it's worth, but do keep us posted!

I'm definitely going to be adding more piping and viscus nasty globuley thingies all over it...

unfortunately you cant see it due to the lighting...

but the arm has some metal supports running through it so I think it would look like it could hold a hefty gun...

his leg stance will be held in position and kinda dug in for the assault...

I'm going to be using actual wires and solder for the piping and tubing...

but I'm going to construct more on before I add the details...

I was thinking plasma cannon cause its nifty...

I thought that the plasma cannon and the VMB were the only guns they got...

Update 3

so I've made his hood and started making some of the tubing...

he'll have a few more and also have tube around his body and such...

Not exactly titan size more like a defiler... that said the model looks great so far!

The mask makes it look more like a slanesh gimp!

What will you do with the legs?

he's going to have incredibly long skinny legs...

the titan model states that if you build its legs fully stretched...

its about 10.5 inches tall....

this guy is going to be about 9 to 9.5 himself...

You know so far the flesh are all dotted up? It would look alot nicer if you include some smooth "normal" skin parts.
It'll give alot of nice contrast.

he'll definitely have some smooth areas as well...

I'm just doing that as his original under flesh...

as soon as I get him fully built I'm going to go back and add areas of smooth flesh or the bulbous sacks of stuff growing off of him or the nurgle iconography...

I made his shoulder mounted cannon....

but I havent fully decorated it yet...

he'll get two more drums on his back...

for the whole nurgle thing...

but thats what its turning out like...

Wow this looks good is it big enough for a Warhound though? At the moment what your doing looks like an absolutely excellent Soul Grinder or Defiler. I am however really impressed with your skill.

is roughly about 5.5 to 6 inches...

the legs are going to be 5 to 5.5 inches long...

either making him right at or above the maximum height of a warhound...

so he'll definitely be big enough...

maybe not wide enough...

but you'll definitely be able to see him in a game...

so there's a size update...

P.S. for those who have been wondering about it...

I did find the schematics to my khorne battle bull

so keep an eye of for it in the future...

well...

I made the shoulder mounted gun...

I'm not quite sure if I like it...

I know I'm adding more to the green stuff...

the guns will also have more added to them to make them more nurgley...

plus the back of the cannon will have a tube that runs to another drum on his back as soon as my friend brings the other to me...

ALSO: the gun sits a tad lower now...

it isnt so much on top of his shoulder... the battle cannon barrel sits inset into his shoulder and the bane cannon sits on top...

I like where you have added the dread ccw but the hole should be as wide as the barrel, if not wider.

its going to have a LARGE pipe running into one of the three barrels on its back...

I also found something that is going to make attaching the legs SO much easier...

I was going through my box of random nifty stuff that has been collecting things for years waiting for their chance to be made into something...

and I came across a key chain...

it was a key chain for a chiropractor's office in colorado...

and the attachment was a full replica of a spinal chord with pelvis...

so I cut it off at the appropriate length...

and its now going to...

a. be the actual pelvis to my monster...

b. be a larger spinal chord that will be blobbing over to be what holds up the drums...

so...

all in all an incredibly lucky find...

so I've build the left leg and dotted the bajeezus out of it...

as the under layer of flesh of course...

but I'll have pics momentarily...

Update 5

so I have constructed the left leg and attached it to the pelvis/spine that was mentioned in my previous post...

but anyway...

this is what the legs will look like (except they will eventually have feet and detail at the bottom)

more layers of flesh will be added onto the whole thing once I...

a. finish constructing this thing...

b. get more green stuff... cause I ran out (sad times in sinism land...)

but until then I'll keep updated on whats going on for construction...

DAMN! that's frightening, but if you can make any bigger so so cause it bearly pass as a warhound.

I will admit at the moment...

he is rather... stringy?

but thats kinda what I was going for... the kinda... plagued/sickly/dying look...

but I'm going to be beefing up hos chest and torso a little more...

but due to a lack of GS it'll be a little bit...

i'm thinking his feet will have large areas where they are planted... but also have them arching in a really awkward/mutated manor...

the weird dotted rotting look is only the under flesh... he's going to have panels of skin looking flesh growing over that to also add more of a muscular tone as well...

as for now I'm going to continue building him to get the basic structure down... then I'll add the pretty touches...

This is a very cool model and I'll definitely be keeping an eye on how this progresses.

I do have some constructive criticism for you, though.

First, while this model may end up being the height of a titan, I think you're going to have a hard time justifying the armor value, structure points, etc. of a warhound titan in game.

I think you may want to create your own datasheet for it using it as a gargantuan creature and the titan weapons you want to use.


As for the model itself, it looks good. The only thing that stuck out to me as a bit off is the leg. I think, if possible, you should have a bend at the knee to give it a more dynamic pose.

his front leg is outstretched and planted foot cause that is the side with the hefty gun...

but if you notice the angle the pelvis sits on the body... it sits with that side forward and the other back...

and the other leg will be more bent and sideways dug in for the dynamic "assault with a big gun" pose...

as for the data sheet... I suppose I could make one...

I'm not very good at coming up with something that's fair... either I beef it up WAY TOO MUCH or sell myself short WAY TOO MUCH...

I was claiming that the random piping/machinery/nurgleness that is running this guy and keeping him alive also make him more resilient and more "able to take a bullet" if you will...

he'll have more mechanics on him...

but I was thinking since its organic and very... rotting... it could pull off something like a plague marine does seeing it has large chunks of its armor gone...
