I played one army: Black Legion, for over a decade. I've always had fun with them, but every time I played against Eldar, I always wished that I could have all those wonderful toys...

Last November I won $90 worth of GW stuff as a tournament prize... I was trying to find Chaos stuff that I needed... but I've pretty much got at least one of every unit...

The Space Elf battleforce was like a bright shining rainbow on the shelf, and I ended up getting it, even though it's honestly a pretty crappy buy, it was the core of my new Eldar army.

Against Chaos, fantasy or 40k, doesn't matter for whatever reason best I can do is a draw. Even a draw is very unlikely. I guess I need to give the Emperor/Karl Franz a little more attention.

Also my own characters: HEs, Empire, Dwarfs. If I have 4 attacks or more I am almost guranteed to fail 50%+ of my to-hit rolls.

Daemons, tzeentch. I love the horrors, everyday i think about buying a squad... or an army,but i already have three armies. once i sell them i might actually buy them. but until then..

My biggest curse seems to be with my own daemon army, when it comes time to roll for the half you selected. I've gotten the half I selected exactly 4 times since the army came out. So, out of 60+ games, I got the 3+ 4 times. And those were when I decided to be tricky, and put the half I would prefer to leave in reserve into the half I was rolling 3+ for. I'm still doing very well with them, but it's getting a bit ridiculous...

My Elysian snipers (BS4) are notorious for always missing, same with my Sentinels, regardless of list (D-99 or regular Guard) who are also notoriously poor shots with the multi-melta and autocannon.

Never ever did my Avatar score more than 2 hits in the last two years of gaming, and rarely does he kill more than one enemy. It's really strange.

Not too long ago he and some stomrguardians charged into a chaosmarine squad. It was the stormguardians winning that combat for him (against doomed chaosmarines with khaines-blessing-seer at their aid).


It's really terrible.



Other than that?


Brightlances on Wraithlords. Either they don't hit or they don't even glance. They don't do anything, ever. (Thus, I switched to fielding close-combat-lords).

With me Bretonnians I have a large collection of lovely Perry metals but I didn't have the skill to paint them and now I just about can, I just can't quite be bothered to play fantasy. Mainly as my favourite models are the Peasants and Archers and the last thing you take in a competitive Bretonnian list are them.
