If i have to guess, they'll make it useable outside of apocalypse.
Because by next year, they are abit too far off from the apocalypse excitement , and want to push the product
as much as they can.

If a plastic trygon were to come the advantages would be that A. it would be much easier to build, convert, cost less, not be poorly cast and warped, etc. and B. that the new tyranid codex around that time would likely include rules for it.

I am guessing that the Trygon will be available only for the Apocalypse Expansion and not normal 40K games as it is still a gargantuan creature -- even though it is subpar to the destructive powers of a Stompa.

I think it will be apocalypse only and they'll prolly do a datasheet on the website that makes it nastier than the FW book and add something crazy to its rules that will make people buy 12 of em.
