Allright, here's my commander of the devilfish. On dakka i saw a tau unit who had it helmet half-off and i really liked this idea so I tried this small conversion. (sorry if i stole your idea )

Yea your starting to get a bit heavy on the dry brushing man. Your first few attempts were really good. Id say, take a little extra time getting those brushes perfect. It will take longer to "weather" them, but itll end up looking SO MUCH better in the end.

I love the bright yellow, love the first image (battlesuit) - my only comment would be that i like models to look neat and tidy - only my preference, the devilfish doesn't yank my cock.

they look exellent! try making the grey highlights on hte black a little thinner, im suprised how well the yellow turned out! way better then my first tau army.

I LOVE the color scheme, but when I think of Tau, I think of clean, highly advanced Alien people. Here are a few examples of my Tau.





I dunno if that works for you, but I suggest using it. Everytime I go to a game everyone says "Those are the best painted Tau I have ever seen."

Yeah your tau look really cool, but as you could read I don't like the pristine look of the tau. I find it naïef to think that tau cannot get damage, herefor i chose to build a heavily battled tau army. This you could read @ the start of this topic

LOL this is like the paint scheme I was talking to my friends about for a couple of weeks for the Tau army I'm starting. Except my one basically will be Blood Red where yours are yellow and Boltgun metal where yours are grey. Either Ultramarines Blue, Scorpion Green or Golden Yellow for the lenses. Haven't decided yet.
