Love all the options that the new IG now get, but there may be a problem with how your battle report went.

When your PBS hits the nobs and knocks down their leadership... because of the wording of the orc codex Im not certain that you really are accomplishing anything. Mob rule! lets the orcs substitute the number of boys in the unit for their leadership value. So you knock the leadership down to 2 and the orc player takes the roll on the number of boys he has anyway. Both rules are satisfied, you have indeed knocked the leadership down to 2, it just isnt used for anything by the orc player. Its one of the core orc abilities, to sub numbers for leadership.

Yeah, that has been discussed at length over in YMDC and elsewhere, the basic consensus is that the Mob replaces the origional leadership. It does not make the leadership un able to be modified. So the orcs can use mob rule, but that would just change the base number that Weaken Reslolve modifies.

Yeah, for what it is worth, I don't agree with that ruling - but that fight has been fought.
