Again the budgets were substantially different between B5 and DS9.

I loved the background visuals. Corrct me if wrong but I believe they were the first to really get into multicolored star patterns, not just black with some white specks flying by.

More importantly, the tech was just background to support the story and wasn't a major weekly deux ex machina.

I thought it was nice. Sure, it was a bit anti-climactic after the whole Shadow-War thing, but it was okay. It's not like it was Crusade or anything.

Almost done with Season 2, really hats off to the actor playing G'kar. With most of his face covered in makeup and weighed down by a rubber suit he manages some very good acting.

G'kar and Londo were the only reasons I continued to watch the show. I always found the other characters to be uninteresting.

Just finished season 2, good, good stuff.

I guess I saw B5 till around the middle of season 3, I remember the change of uniforms and (spoiler) the death of Kosh.

Jolly good show, and a sign of what you can do when you're not tied to toys, movies, a thousand novels etc and thus can break some toys.
