While I wouldn't recommend it, I have left my models in their sabol case in the trunk without any problems. This is in Virginia where in the summer we do get over 100.

however, I once left some bikes on the seat during the summer - by the time I got back to the car they were almost a puddle of plastic. Never ever leave your models in the car.

Do NOT leave models in your trunk. I did it once and had meltes bases. Not bad, but it could have been a lot worse.

Reportedly, one guy drove through the desert to get to a GT, and his entire Ork army melted. He was cool with it, and bought a whole new army right before the GT, and gave them a quick wash with green ink and the organizers let him slide.

I'm amazed he was fine with it, I know I wouldn't have been...
