There's a great brewery near Liverpool called Phoenix. Pretty much every beer they make is top-notch (White Monk being perhaps the finest beer ever made).
BrewDog ( http://www.brewdog.com/) also makes fantastic ale.
As for Lagers (shudder) the only one worth drinking is Budvar. Original and best.
Never heard of Cheddar Valley. Ciders are very nice on the summer days.

They make some kind of cheese there, Stilton I think.

I would recommend anything from New Glarus Brewery.
http://www.newglarusbrewing.com/
Unfortunately, they have a hard enough time filling orders in Wisconsin, so you won’t find it elsewhere. If you’re in state, try a Spotted Cow.
Lately I’ve been hitting the Schlitz, the beer that made Milwaukee famous.
I've never been into the euro-beer fad.

I'm going to get the same kicking I got the last time this topic came up...
Coors Light.
Had a bottle in a Boston bar back in 2007 with the wife. She also loved it. Never got to try the full strength Coors.
Also you cannot find it anywhere in Australia which is annoying.
After that Coronas as they sit very 'light' on the stomach and don't make me feel really crook during a heavy drinking session.

Coors Light.
To each their own. I used to be blatantly against Coors/Miller/Bud, but if you like it then good. I'd rather someone be drinking coors light than Smirnoff Ice Automatically Appended Next Post: Green Blow Fly wrote:I think I love you.
It's nice to be loved. Especially for beer. I just traded a bottle of Dark Lord for a Bottle of Barrel Aged Blackout Stout from Great Lakes Brewing. I'm looking forward to that one.
