If you want to get in trouble, at least that's what it did for me, go back in the 80's and make a drink from one part everclear grain alcohol and three parts jolt cola. There's nothing more dangerous and entertaining than a wide-awake drunk.

Isn't Bulmers exactly the same as Magners? I occasionally see Bulmers in a bars here in Manchester but never bother as they usually have a keg of scrumpy on the side of the bar!

Magners is whats Bulmers is supposed to be Branded as in the UK, but in reality, Bulmers is the AAA Cider, while Magners is the B Runoff

Ah, i'll give Bulmers a try when i see it next. Magners does taste like pond water with a crapload of sugar added to it though, so my expectations are not that high.

On a side note, i currently do some shifts in a city centre bar and it never fails to annoy me when people demand a full pint of ice to go with their magners. Partly because they are being tricked by a fairly laughable marketing campaign but mainly because it uses up all the ice that could have been put to better use -Dropping down the back of the barmaid's tops for example.

We don't allow people to set drinks alight in our bar anymore; about 2 years ago, some poor emo set fire to his head trying to drink a double of absinthe. The combination of hairspray and strong, burning alcohol is not a pretty thing to watch.

im not of legal drinking age but that doesnt stop me from enjoying a good mexican beer (i live in so cal) guiness or pretty much any ale for that matter

It was my birthday on Sunday.

We went to the Pub.

In the pub, I had 3 pints of Darkstar's rather refreshing Hophead (and IPA) , around 7 pints of my beloved Hobgoblin, and 3 or 4 (it got hazy okay?) glasses of tasty, tasty Mead.

I love Mead me. Shame it took me 29 years to discover it. It's like Alcoholic liquid honey. Whats not to like?

Ah, Hobgoblin. Too many pints of that at happy hour waiting for the quiz to start, no wonder i always finish last.

My local had some Darkstar in a while ago, don't think it was the IPA (or the hophead) but it was quite tasty all the same.
