The deciever (and, to a lesser extent, the night bringer) are tricky to use, due to assaults & special rules.

Get;

2x Lords with res orbs (one should also get the gaze of flame, as it makes assault units entirely subpar)

2-3 squads of Warriors, 12 in size (due to 25% casultie threshold)

1-2 Monoliths.

1-2 squads of 1-2 Heavy Destroyers.

Then be as offensive as you like with your necrons, use these guys to glance things with rapid fire & use your heavy destroyers to tank hunt. The monolith will literally fill in the gaps. Relatively simple & easy-to-play army. Hard to beat. Make sure you reeally go over the WBB rules.
