Miniature needs high light because the mini is so small its hard to reflect the light properly to show natural shade.

Gloss destroys all of that.

I use gloss on lenses and tongues, and that's about it.
Also on gems, but those don't pop up often on Marines.
It looks tacky pretty much everywhere else.
