Like the Strong Point, will have to pick one up. I will also have to beg my FLGS in buying some Strong Points for their tables, they need some better terrain.

I actually like the Khan model, very cool. However, I can understand why people would want him on a bike (although with some effort, you could convert him).

The owner of my LGS is going to order in one so i can look at it, and see if we can convert it. If it can be done, i will get pics posted.

I like it, but foresee the need to buy three of them to build any sort of useful building with it. Hopefully it is 3 regular panels high, so that it can work with the other cities of death pieces.

That Aegis defense line is reasonably priced IMO. I can make big bunker towers out of a half-gallon carton of OJ, but making fiddly stuff like small metallic walls with gunports would be a pain.

but you're forgetting the built in savings in the strongpoints! Ha, I'm only kidding. What an over-priced POS and a transparent effort to unload that POS over-priced gamboard.

I do hope that the Ironclad comes with all options... or at least the heavy flamer option.

It says it does in the description, GW is usually pretty good about that.

Two things:
1) The Land speeder storm is down as £18 on the british website, which works out as around $30-35
2) Does anyone know if the storm actually comes with scouts like on the box-art, or is that a conversion?

Whilst I was a fan of the Cities of Death stuff, the planetstrike stuff really doesn't turn me on. In fact it turns me off so much it's like thinking about Pauline Hanson.
I bet i could knock up a respectable 'Aegis Defense Network' in a day with some cardboard and foamcore.

I've written a tutorial on how to make your own "Realm of Battle" board in the Tutorial section (go vote for me!). I made mine for $90 Australian (so 20% of the price of GW's board) and it has 8 tiles (so 33% more gaming space). But, you're allowed to spend your money where you want. .

The description says that the crew is included.

Wrong. There are plenty of dumb people out there who have more money than sense who will just go "ooh! shiny!" and buy them without sitting down and working out the individual costs involved. GW's Direct/promo bundles are often more dazzle than savings. They're just marketing tricks to get you to think you're getting something really great that you can't get anywhere else, when in fact it's not that great at all and you can get it or its equivalent elsewhere, and usually cheaper to boot.

That is true when i worked for GW before the got rid of all the part timers in Canada lots of parents with money bought it for their kids plus a couple hundred dollars worth of other product for Christmas

I personally bought one with my discount and still split it with my 2 other friends so it cam out to like $50 each
and it actually a really good product
