Forever alone

Darkwatch. It's still one of the best games I've ever played.

It's about an outlaw in the wild west who gets bitten by a vampire lord. Awesome game, play it if you get the chance.

And we need a Kohan III. Hurry up, Timegate.

People are like dice, a certain Frenchman said that. You throw yourself in the direction of your own choosing. People are free because they can do that. Everyone's circumstances are different, but no matter how small the choice, at the very least, you can throw yourself. It's not chance or fate. It's the choice you made.

The Banjo-series needs deserves another sequel. Nuts and Bolts was fun for what it was, but it wasn't a real Banjo game.

XIII. Damned cliffhanger. like hell am I reading a COMIC BOOK to find out what happens next!

Other than that, I actually want less sequels. Why does every good game need a sequal?

Case in point: Prince of Persia. Sands of Time was really superb and unlike anything else that had come out beforehand. Unfortunately, all of the games since them have just felt like rehashes of a concept that only needed to be done once. Even the recent (third) reboot was devoid of the originality that made SoT so enthralling.

I would honestly be happier with less sequels, not more.

Oh, someone mentioned crackdown. crackdown 2 was announced at E3. Good game, but I hope they give it some depth this time around.

In a Society in which there is no law, and in theory no compulsion, the only arbiter of behaviour is public opinion. But public opinion, because of the tremendous urge to conformity in gregarious animals, is less tolerant than any system of law. When human beings are governed by "thou shalt not", the individual can practise a certain amount of eccentricity: when they are supposedly governed by "love" or "reason", he is under continuous pressure to make him behave and think in exactly the same way as everyone else.

George Orwell is my hero.

Social Experiment: if you're pissed like me, copy and paste this into your sig, and add a number after it.

XIII. Ah yes, I totally forgot about that one. Thanks for reminding me of that

I haven't played "the two thrones" or the Next-Gen Prince of Persia, but Warrior Within was a bad joke compared to Sands of Time.

The new PoP was trying really hard. It had a new art style, a new combat system, new characters and a new theme. Unfortunately none of the new stuff, except maybe the characters, was any good. The only things that worked really well were the writing and the jumping puzzles. Unfortunately we have had 3 full games worth of well-executed jumping puzzles, so whats the damn point?

It struck a terrible balance between old and new. Like the opposite of MGS4.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!! I just laid out the argument for NOT doing another PoP sequel!

Eternal Darkness would be interesting though. I don't know if its likely though, what with Silicon Knights off doing their own thing. I guess it depends on who holds the rights.

Omigod, YES.

The company that developed bloodlines shut down in 2005. This does not make it impossible for a sequel to be made, but if it was you would have completely different people behind it. Just so you know.

Hell yeah! I've been wanting a next gen version since the 360 was released. Imagine how cool it would be online. I know Quake Wars: ET was trying to do the same thing, but was nowhere as good as Battlefront 1 or 2. Those two games were the sole reason I kept my PS2 for as long as I did.

garret wrote:oh and crackdown.

Crackdown 2 is on it's way. There's something about it on Xbox live, a video I think.

I'd like to see a sequal to Black, the FPS on PS2. That was an awsome game. Never played another game past/present that made me work so hard to clear a level on the higher difficulties. Sometimes frustrating, but always rewarding. Plus the sound effects were top notch.

The Suffering

Homeworld 3. I like space

Shemmune- Come on it's been 10 years.

Gladius. Mutiplay tactics greatness. = to final fantacy tactics in my mind

Skate or die. Classic deserves a remake

River city ransom. same as above.

Super mario brothers 2: I loved being able to play as toad and princess. The game was fun the music was catchy and every Char was different.

Final fantasy II. A dark knight with blood on hs hand seeks redemption and becomes a paladin. I get FF X 2 about a girl band who charges people to save them and spend half the battle changing skimpy outfits. Feth you SQUARE.

Saga fronteir 2: They make Gustave, the main Char, them have him disappear halfway through the game, never to be heard from again. Feth you SQUARE

Shining force: Stop this shining soul crap and give us what we really want.

Castlevania: I played the game to watch Simon Belmont prove that vampires dont have to be staked, you can treat them like bad children and whip them to death. I could give a damm about Alucard and his sad love life.

And whilst you're pointing and shouting at the boogeyman in the corner, you're missing the burglar coming in through the window.

Well, Duh! Because they had a giant Mining ship. If you had a giant mining ship you would drill holes in everything too, before you'd destory it with a black hole

Ah yes, Eternal Darkness. I love the John Woo moments when you start shooting with two pistols at the same time...only to reload them after every shot

There was one. But they cancelled it.

You do know that what the Super Mario Bros. 2 you know in fact wasn't a Super Mario game.

Altough old-school Castlevania was okay, I prefer the Metroid-like games with a giant Castle to explore and leveling up. Though Alucard really isn't a very interesting character.

Gentlemen.

Skies of Arcadia.

It's about air pirates for god's sake! One of the best games on the gamecube. Though after saving the world (and exploring pretty much all of it), perhaps a(nother) remake would be best - prettify it, flesh it out some more.

Or maybe an MMO...

I'd settle for making it a little more difficult to forget to buy that new cannon early on - you know the one, it's the one that the gigas fight is nigh impossible without. Goddamn Recumen and it's goddamn death lasers...

I thought the episodes were more like Half-Life 2 Plus? More like little expansion packs?
