Choice of 4 here folks, from least to most painful.
1. While superglueing an Eisenhorn together, i noticed the cheap foil super-glue tube had ruptured and gone all over my hand. Panicking, i ran to the bathroom to wash it off. Unfortunately, i neglected to notice that my other hand had also become covered, this coupled with the fact that super glue sets much faster under the presence of moisture left me glued to the tap. Took about 10 minutes of peeling the top layer of skin off my palm to free myself, and several more hours to scrape the now dried superglue off the rest of my hands. As an aside, when i went to undercoat that Eisenhorn, i proceded to drop it, and it shattered into all it's component bits.
2. Remember those old 2nd edition Orks that came in the starter set with horned helmets? I trod on 6 of them with my bare feet. Ouch.
3. Whilst grinding away at a side panel of a plastic baneblade with a sanding attachment of a Dremel, a small ball of molten polystyrene flicked up, went under my goggles and stuck to my eyeball. Cue much flailing and cursing until the hot plastic cooled down, at which point i was able to pluck it off the surface of my eyeball carefully.
4. You know those hot-wire cutters used to cut polystyrene? Well i had a similar thing, but was a hot knife that did the same job. Well, i was cutting away at a large sheet of the white flaky stuff making some hills, and the blade was dull and it was getting tougher to pull the knife through the polystyrene. So i was applying more and more force, and neglected to reduce the force when the blade reached the edge of the sheet. The end result was a 200 degree Celsius dull blade entering the fleshy bit between the thumb and forefinger of my left hand, and sticking there. After much screaming and yanking at the knife, i managed to remove it, ran back into the house (this was happening outside) leaving a trail of blood up the garden and all over the backdoor, before running my finger under the tap for half an hour to soothe the burning.
