My favorite part in all of this is picking through everyone else's "mess" and trying to pick out cool ideas I could use. It's like those hidden picture pages.

LB, out of all your liquitex and acrylic mediums, and paint additives which do you think is the one you get the most mileage out of?

And TheGreatCow, is your paintshelf home built? It looks like it would do a great job and not take a ton of carpentry knowhow to make.

Liquitex Matte Medium is the most used and also happens to be the largest bottle of all the liquitex stuff.

Haha I wish, nah mainly it's a cheap particle board table that is more often than not used for catering events, it's slapped to a cheap folding metal leg system that I snagged off of a garage sale for 20 bucks, it appears to have been used prior as a painting table because it is completely spattered and gooped on with paint (some kind of heavy duty exterior paint judging by how hard stuck on some of the splotches are) so alas, I cannot claim credit for it.

But man some of these stations are nuts! I'm amazed we all can find stuff where it is....controlled chaos I suppose? hehe

I wish I had built them. I got them off E-bay. I was planning on opening a shop with a friend of mine, so I got into a buying frenzy of cool things to deck the place out. Unfourtunatly he couldnt come up with his share of the financing. So it all just got pooled into my collection of weird and interesting things. I did help the guy a bit that custom made the two Crozius. I had Planned on giving one away as the trophy for our first Tournament. The other one was for me hahahah. Ohh yeah I have a lifesize lazgun around here somewhere, just havent hung it yet.

First rule about fight club - you do not talk about fight club!

my workstation consists of a large desk covered in everything but my modeling kits. Those are in storage.

Move into a REALLY big house, make sure that your modeling room is one of the most out of the way rooms in the house and keep everything there. Either that or just get married.

Now dont go doing that... I dont need a huge hole in my roof!
Im thinking I may put a bunch of it up on ebay. Most of the guard stuff, and some of the old 90's boxes of marines. I even have a box of the old Legion of the Dammed boxset in there.
Biggest problem is i have no idea how much to price the stuff out at. I dont think I have ever seen a 90's Devastator box set up on there.
So if you saw something you really wanted PM me mabye we can work something out. hahaha

Ohh yeah. the big black blobby thing in the lower right hand corner of a couple of those pics, is this.

Yes I used to use it as my army transport case for my Wordbearers. When I went to "Battle for the Lone Star" (a Houston GT held at NASA). We had a photographer from or for WD, he took pics of it. Guess the rest of my army wasnt cool enough to make it into the mag or the website report on the GT. Ohh well.
