Understated but still has enough to draw the eye.

Beautiful None-Metallic Muscles and the far brighter face mask really works on them the 2nd model is a huge improvement over the first!

It really looks great. I ended up doing a Cadian army for the simple fact of cost, but I was able to get the Cadian command squad and 10 vets from fw to give my army a little charactor. I love the look of fw stuff, especially dkok. Again great job.

Brilliant work and nice to see some flyers in there too!

I agree with others on the colour scheme, simple but very effective. A whole squad would certainly look impressive!

I think for the next improvement of the color =

1. I didn't paint the color of the top eagle on his head, belt, and didn't put his backpack on yet.

2. Brighten up the colors a bit - seems to be a bit 'dull' being that the colors are dark, will have to shade a bit up.

Also been building up my Warmachine/Hordes armies at the same time with DKOK.

All at the same time - i'm quite a multi tasker, and really crazy.

Anyway, I had forgotten about this project until I got to thinking about grabbing up some DKoK myself. Your guys are looking great. Can I request some more pictures from different angles for the financially-challenged of us who won't get to see one of these guys up close for a while?

Also, do you have the Siege of Vraks books? Could you do a review is you do? It's hard to find good reviews of Imperial Armour books.

Finally, I was thinking that if I got these some of these chaps I'd do them up French Great War style.

I'm able to 'weather' the back bottom of the coats on the green more easily as its more visible. I overall like the green scheme, but maybe even going to try redcoats ? Idk.

The green looks nice, I think. However, the red gas mask system and gloves...well, for me it is just too bright. Guy looks like a christmas tree. In my opinion, using duller, more earthy colours for the red parts would look better on the green guy; on the old blue-grey uniform it looks okay for a contrast, I think.

oh! I'll definetly try that out then and see how it goes - I know what you mean. It also might be the camera picture - it really is a leathery brown ish not red xD.

But I know what you mean - go with more of a duller - earthy color that'll give more a dirty look. Mhm. I'll try that out then.

Looking forward to seeing how you're going to Krieg-ify your Lightning. I'm a big fan of the Lightnings, currently on my second so I'll enjoy seeing where that goes.

Took new pics- the other one was with a lightbulb pointed at it. Does it change it up a bit? Criticisms? I'm leaning towards the green - just want a little different DKOK - instead of the traditional grey- but any comments will be taken in! Trying to get it right before i go all out.

I like the green a lot more than I thought I would. Very cool.

I think the grey one looks better, but its your army and you must decide what shema it is in the end.

Like the work you are doing. I would maybe try a very dark brown/red. I really like the green but agree that with red stuff it is a bit christmasy

I'll hit it with a wash - darken it a tad bit!.

I'll also get him on my custom trench bases and see how it goes form there.
