I like the whole project so far, it makes it look like a quick rapid response vehicle, just what a fast attack option should be. Keep up the good work
For the flamer varients I might consider external fuel tanks, much like the current Hellhound, but perhaps with a quick release catch so they can dump the tanks and run if they get into a sticky situation

I think your problem may be the glass table.
Taking pictures inside a box (moving box, beer box, etc...) lined with regular printer paper seems to work very well.
Even better than that take your pictures on concrete, and outside. You can use a white box for outdoor photos, although it usually isn't necessary. With a bit of fiddling I am sure you can get some use out of that camera.
If you continue to have problems, just get angry, then have a glass of milk. If that fails, just keep posting fuzzy pics.

Alrighty, got alot more done today.
Got the rear wheel suspension kit worked out. (still need something on the front though)
Got head lights and the winch mounted on the front. Adding a bumper bar underneath the winch and head lights should tie it together. Might sculpt around the headlights, not sure I like the round look with the squared lines on the rest.
On the back I have a tank system set up that will be adequate for any of the variants. Rather than going with one huge tank (which is stupid to put that much dangerous liquid in a single container) I went with a dozen small tanks. Having a ton of the old flamer tanks off the accessory sprues came in handy. Theres even a regulator bit
And the tires on the right side are temporary until I make some that match the ones on the left
I made a Morale check and didnt throw my camera out the window. Most of the shots are still fuzzy, but better than the last. And I got one good clear shot of the front ^_^

I decided to square up around the head lights.
This will let me add a lil armor bulk up front too.

Hmm...
I like it so far, but the external tanks are bugging me.
Unless it's actually in the rules that it has external tanks (I don't remember if it is, and I have no idea where my guard codex IS, currently), I think they'd be put inside, or at least under some armour plate.
The gun is still a touch exaggerated. Possibly turn it into a remote weapon station of some sort?

lol Its 40k, EVERY gun is exxagerated
But it is a Melta Cannon, so a burly gun seems to fit. The flame version and chem-cannon will be smaller, since theyre just basically sprayer nozzles.
And with 10 armor, the exposed tanks on the rear arent a big issue. But, the tanks are just an add on bit, theyre removable so that rear shelf section can also be used for gear stowage and such

Very nice, I like the look of this. It's almost unrecognisable as a Land Speeder. I made these a few years ago.

When I first started out I was going to do something similar to those. But as Hellhounds are now a light tank with decent armor(and no silly rules like they used to for being penetrated) I wanted mine to have a burlier look to them.
I like those tallarn ones though, maybe 'counts as' sentinels? I only have about 4 spare speeders left, though- so my tallarn will probly be left out as I'll need them in my SM army lol

So, for all practical purposes my hellhound armored car is 90% complete. If I could get a more solid image in my mind and work off that I'd be able to model faster- but the ideas mutate in my head as the models get built. Its not a bad thing really, one idea spawns another, something doesnt look right(or could look better). Anyhow, the only things left on the HH is rivets, and some suspension/wheel mounts for the front tires. I ended up boring out the front wheel wells to take a set of 1/35th LAV tires like on the back- using the GW tires, even the modded ones, just made it look too toy like. The bigger tires up front give it a much more solid appearance. I tac'd on the finish gubbins, Some aquilas on the side, stowage bits, smoke launchers, turret mount and ring. I didnt want any of those bits on the body when I make a mold of it, I want to keep the customization options as open possible. Im also probly going to work up an extension for the cargo section- make it longer and add an extra set of wheels- make it able to function as a troop carrier also ^_^ Im also thinkin it could work as a Manticore or Hydra platform(both low recoil types of artillery).
Pics in the next couple of days hopefully- feel free to harass me if its important to ya

As commented earlier is is a little small, I know it's a variant but it really should be similar in footprint for gameplay reasons..(please don't eat me like scrazza) but w/e, also on another note, it's actually not that crazy to have a tank moving that fast, theyre not that slow.
