They're just bloodletters with carved-up heads, guitar string in the spine channel, and a bit of brown stuff here and there. Oh, and tubing/rod for the horrors. Easy-peasy.

This stuff is just made of Greatness!! The mixture of organic(daemon that is) and tech is really cool. I like the great unclean one quite a bit.

I love the helicopter daemon!

Nice stuff, it reminds me of the demons in Doom. They had a mechanical bent to them, as well.

I like the balrog helicopter idea - BUT - i think the helipack looks a little tacked on (which makes it a little corny).

I think some more work in integrating the unit into the body (more of that awesome brownstuff sculpting, wires tubest etc) would make it a more cohesive model and resolve the current criticisms.

All top work tho mate.

personally i dont see anything wrong with the heli-thirster. i mean imagine it flying towards you....who needs a giant axe ans whip when your enemies are chopped into sushi by rotary blades. anyone seen 28 weeks later? whole feild of infected pwned by a helicopters blades. i can see this guy doing that ^^

they look kinda like your eyeless bloodletter guys, but...erm well see for yourself.

On the bases...

It looks like diamond-plate plasticard...but how did you get such perfect circles? I've been trying (and failing) for some time now!

you could easily use that standing soul grinder as some kind of knight titan. that hee-ugeee

Easy-peasy--just use the bases themselves as your guide:

1) cut the sheet of plasticard into strips that are just a bit wider than the top of whatever base you're using, and then cut the strips into squares.

2) glue the squares onto the bases & let 'em dry

3) trim the edges of the squares with a pair of sprue clippers to within 1mm or so of the base.

4) using the bevelled edge of the base as a guide, trim the ragged edges of the card with a sharp xacto blade.

5) sand/scrape the edges smooth.

These are all simply fantastic! They have a Strogg feel to them which I just adore. I think I'll take some "inspiration" from this for a later project.

I am definitely digging those bloodletters turned into everything. A great use for the kit. I am going to have to steal the eyeless head idea for my own muties.

This is outstanding. Hands-down, this is an enormous improvement over the original look of the army. Definitely one of the better converted armies I have seen. I look forward to seeing the paint job!

Definitely reminds me of DOOM (easily one of the best games of all time! ). I wanted to make Imps somehow and apparently you just told me how to do it!
