I love everything you've done so far! Although I'm not a huge fan of going out of GW products for making stuff, I must say that the tech adept is stellar. Your magos is amazing as well, I don't think he's out of proportions at all. He looks a lot like some concept art from the Heresy books that I've seen; did you use anything for inspiration when you built him or was it just randoml thought up?

Now that Skitarii, hmmmm....I might have to "acquire" that design, it's so good!

Really looking forward to how the army develops!

Great pics - it seems this blog has been going for a little while and I've missed it - I'd really like to know more about these events though - did you say this was for a Horus Heresy-themed event at Warhammer World?

Interesting looking back at this list now. Some were covered, other abandoned.

The Tempus Fugitives have been running a pre-heresy campaign. Part 3 is in 3 weeks, but is sold out. The Scouring is in September.

Are you using the Soul Forge rules from tempus fugitive, if not which rules are you using?

Color selection and painting of the "skull faces" is very good. the Magos is just beyond outstanding though. No critiques here.

Thanks everyone.

i am currently using the TF Cult Mechanicus codex. I flirt between that, IG and Soul Forge outside of events.

The Kaban machine is on hold. I won't have time since I need to finish painting the army and build Kelbor Hal from scratch.

I have 2 Myrmidons, both based on Defilers with Repentant Engine 'crew'.

Here's the build, the arms reflect the crewman

The paintjob isn't final, but I ran out of ideas.

That´s the best Storm Hawk I've seen so far!

The Storm Hawk is a single Valkyrie kit, plasticard and some minor pieces sourced from Chimera and City of Death (literally just a few panels). I blogged the whole building process:

By far the best design I've seen so far! Looks more economical than using a land raider and a valk as well.

Almost! Dude, the rockets! Couldn't you have maybe put some green stuff between the two components? I mean, your models look amazing, high standard, but it's those little details that can truly make or break the model.

Sorry if Im being harsh :(

Malika, Indeed. The photo kinda betrays the model now
I've cleaned the rockets up a bit - needs an update really.

Commissar Agro, I used Dave's tutorial and went so far as to nick his Dark Flesh paint scheme too. I love his work and happily spread the word. He sometimes posts on my blog too

Lennysmash, yep! So much that I'm going to build more.
