hey quick uptdate i just undercoated half of the army and are starting painting, updates tomorow

The graffiti looks great but I can imagine some guardsmen having an awful lot of trouble when the crew notices it. I hope to see more of the graffiti stuff on your tanks though. I really like your heavy weapons teams and the conversions are great all around.

i do my own graffiti art in australia and i plan to do some on my lemun russ i will get in a week or more and for the SM tank yea i do think so but i got bored and needed some brush practice

tell me how you made your veterans and got all those plastic shotguns and melta guns, now!!! <3

the shot gun was a space marine scout one, but i cliped the trigger hand off and put a handle of a bolter on it, the melta guns, 2 were cliped away lasguns arms*the ones that dont have the hand already holding it* and SM melta guns glued on, the green stuff work was painfull and the whole squad was catachan and cadian bits maxed out with pacs

its a hunterkiller missle rack, i was builting my sentinal and looked at it for a second and it reminded me kinda of a 50 cal. sniper barrel so i got to work, cutting a barrel and a little bit to mach up with the clip *the base of the gun was a lasgun, to be exact the lasgun with only one hand on the handle in the cadian box witch i trimmed to right before the clip, the clip was a cut up SM captain storm bolter clip, bolter grip as the grip and SM bolter scope and a lasgun barrel at the end of the gun

i could look into it, although true graffiti is developed in time i could do a simple structure like what was on the predator, and the catachan bits i never really liked them but when i worked with them i found they are much more flexible to convert than cadians.

The first heavy weapon team, with the barrel, is just awesome. I laughed so hard at the Guardsman who was hiding, holding his hands on his ears.
Just awesome, all of the stuff.

here is some fluff

braxis system m-41

The Imperium first discovered the planets in the braxis system in m-38, the planets had no strong military forces but years of rebel outbreakes and insurgents caused conflict for years, a blood angels 5th company strike force had entered the system due following a thousand sons fleet, on board the blood angels ships was inquisitor macharus and a force of grey knight space marines.

Origionally macharus was investigating/studying the blood angles gene seed mutation known as the black rage, although due to the interception of a thousand sons fleet assumed to be lead by the exiled thousand sons lord Ahriman and his lost followers. intel had shown Ahriman was looking for a ancient shrine which was to contain an archive of eldar technology and web way artifacts on the snow planet of lithius, during the conflict on lithius many squads of blood angels started to turn to the rage because of the sorcery and ruinous powers against them. Even force commander angelos was forced into madness but the powers of tzeentch had turned them into frenzied killers, folowing the final final battle between inquisitor macharus, 3 grey knights including justicar benidictus and the daemon prince totzkezeon force commander angelos martyed him self to send the monster back to the warp.

The blood angel and inquisition forces were forced to retreat and with the thousand son fleet dissapearing without any notice Ahrimans plan had worked. with the final remnants of the war gone the imperial guard established 5 regiments to the system made up with catachan cadian and harakonian warhawks. as the years continued the systems inhabitants were inducted into the regiment and a new imperial program was created for the extream sensed soldiers that the system would bring forth. this was called the marksmen imperialus or other known as the ghost program creating special snipers that where specialist at inflitration but lack toughness and muscular strength because of drug and medical changes during their training in the program.

a renegade chaos fleet made up mostly of traitors and rebel guardsmen had invaded the system folowing that a small tau fleet had entered the battle, the first braxis regiment known as the city rats or grey raiders had forced the renegades out of the main planet and the second regiment known as the jungle snakes or green death have a constant gurellia war with tau forces, the 3rd regiment is the braxis imperial navy, with a small force of mobile airborne soldiers it is mostly made up of air/space craft. the 4th is the armoured fist of braxis the tank companys although every regiment had their own tanks, the 4th was a back up/ mechanized force. finally the 5th regiment; the scum; the traitors. the 5th regiment and most of the 4th regiment had turned to the powers of chaos and have joined the traitor invation to destroy the remaining imperial forces and claim the system in complete chaos and death.

a =I= black ship had entered the system to aid the imperial forces aswell as a imperial fist company and several other SM chapters to rid the system of taint, the =I= was focused on recovering the bodys of fallen brothers from the last war and to destroy a web way portal that ahriman had opened centuries ago. after many decades of conflict the SM chapters were forced to create a crusade chapter that select remaining soldiers join and the rest left the system to report and replenish their forces, this new SM army was to be a special ops strike force that would take out key missions during full scale assaults against the traitors.

i will have photo updates tomorrow about lunch time? in aus, and i am working on a long term SM force project if you didn't read the fluff thanks for reading and stay tuned for new updates

Amazing stuff you have. Wierd though how you have done stuff that I'm planning on doing e.g. masked sniper squad, rifles with added optics, more tactical gear... bweh, I hope I can pull it off as well as you did. But, you know what? I'm reeaaly hankering to see you paint up a nice standard flag with a rockin piece plastered accross it. Work dem taggin skills bro!

thanks dude, im considering doing a piece on my valkrie or lemunruss too and if i get some spare time ill post up a sketch of what id do.

some old imperial fists i had, i decided to revive them and re paint them in my new scheme to suit the guard army too.

this is a dogie mock up of the scheme, im not verry keen on the camo but the colour scheme will be adeptus battle grey washed with chais black and highlighted from adeptus upto codex grey, with denhib stone trim highlighted with skull white. note the ex-chapter shoulder pad

on the other hand i have started to paint one of my objective markers, verry national to my country


well there you go thats my update, i am hoping to get much more done soon so i can keep this thread regularly updated so if you can give some advice or somthing than that would be great

The sniper team, the prone heavy weapons team and the standard (lol in the 41st millennium the british empire still exists) blew me away.

I LOVE that sniper rifle, consider it stolen. I also think the portable missle launcher is a great use of extra bits and looks as though it were a normal weapon not like something from bits. Very well done.

Ha, oh yeah, the jungle plants will look great on the urban bases...some tip.

I love how you've given them all a bit of personality. The "boom" on the missile launcher is great, reminds me of "Adios" from Aliens. Also, just thought I'd say the graffiti is awesome.
