craigslist has been my friend, since I play SoB army I've had to be very careful about what I buy and when...that and some of the FLGS around here sell used models at near half price

Dude, just get a job at your local GW/FLGS, you will make money, and a nice discount. If you are real lucky you will get a GF that plays 40K, and then it's a real win/win.

The first trick to playing this game cheap is never, ever buy at Games Workshop prices. There are far cheaper deals...E-Bay, various sponsored websites and, of course, dakka's own Swap Shop being good ways to get stuff cheap.
