I haven't tried online gaming, in fact the only game I play online is CS 1.6.

Why did they make Halo into an anime?

Video games like Halo and Anime dont flow!

I like the Halo games. The first and third games were really slick productions, with an excellent control scheme that made FPS on a console a viable thing. I like the Halo setting, full of style and interesting ideas.

But for a tv series the universe setting is little threadbare. This show will have to expand the setting considerably (and risk turning away a significant portion of the die-hards) or make a long string of very silly gunfights.

meh, I don't know why they've made this approach with the game. As a stand alone movie it MAY have been good. But mixing it with a game? I don't know...

This is probably just a miserable marketing ploy to sell more copies of Halo (And thus, X-Box 360's in general) in Japan.

My verdict is that it will fail horrendously.

I am actually confused as to why Halo is so very popular, I guess it may not be anymore though.

The strategy game though... fail, total fail. No I am not impressed by their pathetic attempts to make me swoon over a pivoting camera and every shade of gray and blue imaginable mixed together into what they call "cutting edge graphics" now.

Meh... this movie is going to make me hate Hollywood that much more.

Wow... okay, apart from being blinded by the terrible editing and obviously sub-par quality I see one good quality it DOES posses one good quality. The amount of self-serving pretentious gak in this movie could fertilize 10 football fields of rice, as well as a small patch to grow feed for livestock. Profitable to say the least, ain't business grand!

Well, Halo is the big thing for Microsoft, so they're going to milk it until the udders are nothing but black, rotten stubs.

No need to hate Hollywood, Peter Jackson pulled out of the Halo movie, Universal and Warner Brothers are now fighting over the rights.

As a self-confessed Halo Fanboy even I say that is kinda pushing it. Even though IMO, Halo 3 was a big let down, I'm very excited for ODST and I'm sure Reach will also be good, but I think Microsoft have made a mistake moving into the Anime genre.

Probably true, but people forget they have a choice of actually not seeing it, thus not complaining about how they disliked it, and leaving people who might enjoy free from their whine.

Unless it's either pokemon, yu-gi-oh, monster ranch, Britney Spears and Linkin Park.
