IIRC, you said that was because it was too hard for you.
People are like dice, a certain Frenchman said that. You throw yourself in the direction of your own choosing. People are free because they can do that. Everyone's circumstances are different, but no matter how small the choice, at the very least, you can throw yourself. It's not chance or fate. It's the choice you made.

At least that's the feeling I was left with after seeing this first teaser trailer for the ultra-new Halo Legends anime series. Produced by a long list of big names in the industry like Bones, Production I.G., Studio 4°C, Toei Animation, Casio Entertainment and Microsoft, it would seem like there could be no way the Halo anime could fail. And to be fair, there really is very little to go on from this trailer. But then again, who likes to be fair? I think it looks like silly crap.
I really should stay out of these sorts of topics for my own peace of mind. Suffice it to say I don't hate either Halo or anime out of hand, and look forward to this.

Looks like halo is becoming the new zelda.
You wish.

I love Halo, I just don't like what it is becoming. When Xbox Live became infested with idiots around September last year, Halo 3 went from being a joy to a misery for me to play. Now this is one of the final nails in the coffin for me, along with the insult that is Halo Wars.

Oh, Death was never enemy of ours!
We laughed at him, we leagued with him, old chum.
No soldier's paid to kick against His powers.
We laughed - knowing that better men would come,
And greater wars: when each proud fighter brags
He wars on Death, for lives; not men, for flags.
A lot of big names in the industry but frankly the trailer's assembly looked like crap. They should fire whomever put the trailer together.
And I have faith in Production I.G., if they're on a big budget. Ghost in the shell is extremely well done in terms of drawing and animation.
Not to pick a fight with anyone, but why just come here to bash the game/franchise? I don't like Linkin Park but I don't make a point of going into every tread to moan about how I much I dislike them and it drove me to sell my mp3 player

Yeah same here. I kind of thought this anime thing was a joke at first... but I guess they are for serious.
Which brings me to another point. Do Halo fans actually think this anime will be 'good'? Or are you bemoaning it like a lot of others hanging it around here?
Once upon a time, I told myself it's better to be smart than lucky. Every day, the world proves me wrong a little more.
I guess you could call me a fan, I enjoyed Halo. I read the books before playing the games so had some story when I came into playing the game. It was an okay game franchise that I was able to alot more because of the EU stuff than without.
For me the anime is to the Halo franchise what Devil May Cry 2 is to that franchise.
What's that you say? You don't recall a Devil May Cry 2? My point exactly...
I've played all three just so I could tell people how bad they are without being called out on the internet law of "if you don't play it you got gak to say about it"
It has a core, but the main selling points aren't that special, oh no, not at all. The first game was mediocre, the second boring, the third over hyped. I saw those commercials and I thought that it would actually be a great game, well gak on a pogostick, it's not! Though in all honesty most of the acclaim comes from the multi-player component, something I don't buy games for.
Which is exactly why I don't find those games gold as well, I'm not that big into multiplayer, and when I am I have other games that I find more fun online, MGO TF2, DoD:S, CS:S, hell even KZ2.
But you're right Halo does have a core, and I feel you need the EU stuff to make the core better.
Oh just for the Hell of it
The Battle Rifle is just a re-skinned version of the overly powerful Pistol in Halo CE and in H2 the SMG is just a re-skinned version of the AR, but they fixed that in 3.
