Yeah, you Americans don't have anything on us. Try spending a week in the Australian outback in the middle of summer. No rain for months on end, the ground is cracked and lifeless, the air is so dry that you need to take a drink after breathing for a minute.

Your hurricane has nothing on our wildlife. Even platypuses are poisonous and kangaroos can gut you with one kick.

We had dangerous wildlife once (unless you count the poisonous spiders and multiple snake types in which case we still have it). Outside of the occasional javalina we've EATEN all the other dangerous animals. you Aussies have to toughen up a little and eat those critters.

We do have that whole drug war thing going on on the border of course.

Do they have tornadoes in Australia?

No, but the north and northwest coasts get hurricanes and cyclones every now and then. Down here in Tasmania, which has a climate similar to England's (hot in summer, cold and rainy in the other seasons), we just get lots of lowland floods and gales in the winter. I hear parts of the mainland have pretty nasty lightning storms as well.
