Your all looking to much into this. Its a simple system. Think of it like EB Games or Game Stop. Lets say you buy a video game and trade it in. You only get a small % of it original value because the company taking it in is taking all the risk. They have to restock that game and try and resell it. We are not even reselling the bags so we are actually incurring the full trade value at our expense. We are doing this just to help people out with old or unused bags and cases.
Its not a F U to any company or business out there. Its just a fact of life for smart business. Car dealers do it, video game retailers do it, and pawn shops do it. Heck, the car business would not be around if it was not for taking in trades. They do it with 1 year old cars, and 20 year old junkers they send to the dumpster.

Please, don't misconstrue what I said, if you took my comments in a negative light. They were meant as nothing of the sort.
In fact, I agree that it's good business sense in that it increases the # of people buying your product. Sure, your profit margin isn't as high as if you had't given the discount... but it's STILL a profit. It's a profit that, in the case of SOME buyers, you wouldn't be getting otherwise.
It's definitely smart, IMO. I think that enough retailers simply don't give enough credit to this type of deal.
The fact remains (and I mean this, too, in a good way) that every person who trades in a GW or Sabol case to you is one more competing case "off the street." That guy isn't going to start using his Sabol/ GW case again, simply because he found a good deal on some trays, if he has no more Sabol/ GW case to put them in.
I'm not implying that it's a "F U" to any company or companies... just that it's a smart decision on your part.

The whole "F U" thing was a joke about all the Sabol/ GW cases he'll be getting. I was just wondering what he was going to do with all of them and comically suggested that he planned on burning them in a big fire and videotaping it.

I love this trade-in system, the only problem I have with it is that I need all the foam. Not really a problem with the program, more me, since my foam is all scattered to the wind (since I've already begun replacing it with BattleFoam).
Well, and the cap system, since I actually have about 7 or 8 of the GW cases (mostly the big army cases) and I can't see spending the $500 I would need to to get the full credit. So I'll probably end up keeping some of my GW cases and just filling them with Battlefoam completely.

A pretty insignificant amount, compared to the huge amount of cases already in existance, especially of GW.

I think the biggest problem people have with the PACK systems is the relatively large initial layout for the system. 300 bucks for a carry system is a money that would be a very nice start (and damn near a completion!) on a new army. However, I examine my IG army. Currently spread out across 3 GW cases, 2 econo foam cases (hey, they used to house computer boards and were free), and a cardboard box. Oh, and then we get to the superheavies. And THEN to the unassembled stuff: 10 Russ hulls, 1 Stormlord hull, a slew of chimeras....
What in the fourth circle of hell do you carry that much crap in?
