Painting is well underway. Here is the Main fortress. I did have the Teef all white but it didnt quite look imposing enough. My son suggested Blood. It looks over the top but then again Orks are[u] over the top

Wow, that looks great! Great shapes, and the red will look cool in such large swathes.

My one suggestion is that things will benefit from looking dirtier. Use washes of black and brown to soil the whole shebang, and you'll be good as done. You can either use the GW washes, or make your own out of acrylic paints mixed with a little Future floor polish and water. You will have to hit it all with a coat of matte sealant to cut down the shine afterwards, but that's probably a good idea anyways for gaming terrain that will get well-used. Another possibility is to go to an art store and buy some matte acrylic medium, mix in light pigment (from acrylic craft paints) and then go to town from there.

Can't wait to see pics of a battle on these. Way to go!

thanks for the wash ideas. I think i will do all the buildings together when i have finished the painting

Looks like it can go pretty fast, with all that red. Agreeing with the call for more shading/washes, though, it'll look fantastic once that's done.

Looks pretty cool so far. My only concern is, that so far, you have a lot of blank spaces. The walls need some structure or at least some bitz to show what they're made of.
