I'm interested in Space Hulk, but I don't want it. Why? too expensive, hate tyranids, and I'm working on a Chaos army already which is killing all my spending money.

its a fun game, but 100$ thats insane...the models look great, but for the price they should havemade thetiles out of some plastic...oh well ill most likely buy it,im working ona nid army so the brood lord would be cool..when it first cameout it was like 50-60$ it would sell better at this price..what really sucks is the limited time offer.....whynot just stock it for a year and make add ons for itrules for the other races and such for a hulk invason.....

As a BA player I'm just about ecstatic that they finally made some blood angel themed anything and you can't say the minis don't look amazing.

too bad about them being termies though I already have 20+ of them for an army that doesn't even field them well (I blame Jervis naturally)

it used to be a fun game but not as good as a real battle, main issue is that the marines are blood angels so however good they are you would have to collect blood angels/ravens etc to make it worth while it is a real shame they never made terminators without any logos so could fit into any chapter

One of the Greatest GW Games ever! Reborn!!!

But...

Too expensive and I really don't like the floor tiles (too flat, not that good ol' claustrophobic feeling). $100 for a board game!?!?

I say get some termies and genestealers, download the .pdf rules, make some claustrophobic halls and turns from whatever you have laying around and go for it. (Your Dad's old paperbacks excel at this!)

I want it but I'm going to wait until it hits the shelves and see what kind of prices discounters can offer. I asked Neal from the warstore.com and he's able to sell it at $89.99 currently.

If GW offers free shipping next month that might sway me to their direction since SH seems like a relatively big and heavy box.

I will not be purchasing for all of the right reasons.

1. I'm going to be a college student soon so hey, no money to toss around.
2. No one to play with-That's the problem with living in the stix.
3. Isn't 2 enough?

Granted if someone ever showed up and plopped the box down on the table I'd give it a shot.

cool, but too expensive. i mean, if GW lowered the price to, say, 70 dollars, then maybe i would have bought it. a lot of people definitely would have bought it if that happened. sure, space hulk was awesome. but its not as cool as 100 dollars.

I already have it =) I may buy it just for those pimp BA terminators and because my board was made on the cheap for 5.95 by getting the templates -free- off the internet.

I've pre-ordered it.

Depending on how it all looks when it arrives, might buy a second one for extra corridors, and extra Termies/Stealers.

I never had the privilege of playing the original space hulk, and I always wanted to tr it out...

The price is a little much, but then again so are a lot of those amazing big box board games.

I certainly want to try it, but money is the problem. I have the same issue with games like 'Frag' and 'House on the Hill'. I really want them, but they're expensive as hell.

I was a kid now AND a squid now before it was cool.

Who needs a new one? My old one is still knocking about and two of my mates have theirs in working order too. The Stealers and Terminators are uglier but who cares?

GW just fethed up in too many ways for me. Not only did the "mystery box" campaign, which apparently wasn't a very closely kept secret since everyone knew exactly what it was, get on my nerves, but the decision to produce it only in "extremely limited quantities" and slap a ridiculous $100 price tag on it, is just too much.

Sure, Space Hulk will be a success. There are plenty of fans out there with more money than sense who will buy it and GW will rake a good profit from it. But I just really don't get why they chose to produce the game in such limited quantities in the first place. As I've said before, this could very easily have become a hot-selling permanent item. Everyone who wants a copy can get one, not just the nostalgic veterans with deep pockets, and it could even be used to introduce new blood to the hobby a la the original Space Hulk.

But nope, GW is determined to do whatever it takes to fail. Awesome business strategy is awesome.

Another thing that bothers me about it, is that most of the people buying the game probably won't even be playing it, they'll just put it up for sale on eBay for some even MORE ridiculous price.

Not interested.

Bought SH1.0 back in the day.
Still have most of it. Have the tiles, the rules, the counters, and the metal terminators I bought to replace the plastic gak ones that came with it.

(Don't have the genestealers since they went missing back in '95 when moving house - along with the rest of the box of classic WW2 bunker terrain pieces in O gauge - but that's ok as the only member of my club that wants to play it also plays bugs - a stealer themed bug army at that.)

Having never played SH, I don't care about the rules or tiles. If I had any need for more Termies or Stealers I'd buy it in a heartbeat since it's worth it for the models alone (never mind the amazing and unique poses) but sadly I don't. So I'll save my money for Chaos in the Old World and/or Grind instead.

Never played before SH, I would like to try, but the price is high enough to calm me down.
I would like them to make different packages, so starting with the rules and the minis I have now will be a first step, if going on I would buy the minis (I would buy the BA anyway), and then the tiles (if improved, not those flat tiles... come on, they could do it better)

Voted other. Wasn't interested in getting it then saw that a friend bought it the other day.
The box is certainly weighty and the models look nice. Guess I'll give it a try.
