I think you'll find most everyone's anti armor strategy involves PKs. To exclude them is a huge mistake IMO. You don't need tons of PKs, just 1-3 per nobz squad and 1 in boyz squad. You'll have a hard time cracking tanks and MEQs if you only rely on ork shooting. The PKs give you redundant armor penetration units, which keeps you enemy guessing on where the danger is going to come from.

Let's simplify that... No power klaws = no win.

Victorious warriors win first and then go to war, while defeated warriors go to war first and then seek to win. -- Sun-tzu
The art of war is simple enough. Find out where your enemy is. Get at him as soon as you can. Strike him as hard as you can, and keep moving on. -- Ulysses S. Grant

You're comparing having a Str 6 weapon vs having a Str 8 power weapon. Add one to both on the charge. Look it up in your book what having a power fist does in the assault. Sure, it strikes last. Yeah, you'll take some wounds. That's what your 6 point boys are for. You're taking a +2 to your strength over having a slow but powerful weapon that DESTROYS in close combat, where the Big Choppa would be seen, anyway. For gaks and giggles, borrow someone's squad of Terminators and run a close combat scenario. Odds are the Powerklaw will hurt more than the Choppa. Or hell, run the squads against each other. See how your tactics fare.

Edit: And meganobs vs anything usually turns them into paste. All powerklaw attacks? With a +2 armor save? Kills things outright, all the time. And the KFF Mek with the Megas is redundant. You only get one save--armor, cover, or invulnerable. The +2 armor trumps the +5 cover they'd get. The Mek can be used elsewhere.
